We never got on and were always at each others throats, but I always saw a lot of myself in the guy, someone who seemed to have it together but had a lot of the same personality I did, and I thought we'd get along well if we met off the website.

Then he killed himself. I felt awful and wished I could've helped, wished I'd reached out and actually tried to be that friend I thought we could be, tried to make some difference.

But instead I was the same aggressive prick I've always been. Now I see my life just slowly crumbling around me in different ways and I realise I just really don't like the world I live in anymore.

That topic really made you reflect, huh?

I vaguely remember his screen name but I didnt know him well when he passed away some one said he mentioned my username along with others before he passed away so I also felt really sad when I heard the news

I wouldn't say he had it all together. Dude was insanely insecure.

I mean, personality wise there were clearly plenty of flaws, but I can't really judge for that, and I don't think anyone else here can either, but his life seemed good from what I heard. Hard to tell if it was just him boasting excessively or if things really went downhill that fast.

I somewhat sympathize, but nobody should take their issues out on other people and act like a complete stuck up jerk all the time.

Yeah it hit surprisingly hard at the time. Dude was an asshole but nobody deserves to deal with that struggle.

Not to speak ill of the dead but his last topic was him being extremely upset and depressed because his wife cheated on him

However he had made topics in the past both about him cheating on her toward the beginning of their relationship, as well as mocking people who had been cheated on saying they obviously werent good enough for the person.

this. just wished he didn't decide to end his life over his situation.

He was a complete bully to me until he softened up some before his untimely passing. We talked a little in PMs and he was apologetic.

Little could he have known that years later, monogamy has fallen out of fashion and everyone has a side piece these days. He was just too ahead of the curve

I didn't really interact with him all that much.

I do vividly remember that he would pick fights with a lot of users and boast a lot about how cool he was...

I don't wish the ending he had on anyone. if he lived, maybe he would've grown as a person. But his problems got the best of him and he didn't get that chance.

I remember him and interacted with him a few times. He was like 30 or 31 when he killed himself he had a long life ahead of him. I remember his last topic and didn't think it would lead to suicide. I thought he would just find someone else to date.

Yeah .... I know that feel.

He was a mean person who tried to hurt other people's feelings for no reason. It could be how he was dealing with his pain. But he was mean. If other people had issues with self-esteem, and depression his words could have done untold damage to people.

P2E was insanely transphobic. I mean, he didn't even try to be coy about. He straight up told transwomen here they weren't women.

That is what was thought to have led to his suicide. Wife cheated couldn't handle it and ended life. We obviously don't know what happened off GameFaqs but that was what his last thread was about if I remember correctly of this 7 year old info.

He wasn't unique in that regard unfortunately. Until very recently "transwomen are women" was a controversial statement that would get people to attack you on here.

gamefaqs should prohibit topics about controversial gamefaqs posters who have died.

why? There is no possible good outcome to them. This kind of topics can be made to make fun of the controversial poster while pretending to fondly remember him (I am not saying this is TCs case, its not). And the replies will invariably revolve around saying that the hypothetical controversial poster was a great guy (often not the case), which ends being a lie, or that the hypothetical controversial poster was a terrible person, which is a horrible thing since it is talking bad about a dead person, which is rough.
