His voice actor isn't one of his problems. The whiny tone Tidus sometimes has isnt too surprising when you know that JAT also did the voice of Johnny Test. I'm definitely in the camp of sentient AI and there's a lot of things that point towards that... but also a few other conflicting things lol Either way, I really hope they decide to go with sentient AI in Rebirth because it makes him a lot more interesting of a character that way and then his sacrifice actually has meaning? Sure there will be another Cait Sith that shows up, but it won't be the same. The alternative is Reeve just likes fucking with everyone, constantly, for some reason. He's definitely just Reeve in the original game I feel and really the only thing that hints that he isn't is the one line he has about sacrifice. That being said, I've always found it difficult to vote for Cait under the impression that he is Reeve, and voting for Cait Sith is actually voting for Reeve. I think Reeve got in one year and did extremely poorly, which makes me really sad.
