I mean yeah but that's not really thematically different from "Nazis won" AHs. It's also not really a contest as to who has the most atrocious war crimes.

America decides USSR is bad enough to be worth cooperating with Japan against them and without the pearl harbor attack, there's not enough public support for war against Japan.

The politics of Killer7 was at least interesting that way. And you can choose to aid Japan in invading the US, although it happens like right at the end of the game.

Alternate history where the Tokugawa Shogunate won the Boshin War and Japan never becomes an expansionist empire

a world where Alexander the great lost quickly

the world didn't become united under such an empire

and so greek didn't proliferate and the roman empire never came about

this would completely change the entire world

Don't think this would change much. Hitler didn't turn out the way he did because of being rejected from art school and even if you remove Hitler from the equation someone else would have led the Nazi party to most of the same ends.

This would be fucking fantastic but so much First Nations history was destroyed by the Europeans I don't think even our best guesses would come close to what we'd actually have.

An alternate history where George Washington doesn't relinquish power after his presidency and becomes King I feel is underutilized. All I can think of is that Assassin's Creed dlc...there must be other media that use this scenario, right?

Washington was so old by the end of his second term that I don't think any desperate power grabs would have lasted long or been very effective. It might have destroyed the United States but I don't think a true Kingdom would have emerged.

My problem is that it's slowly moving into non-fiction these days.

Japan, while definitely not innocent, considering what they did to the Chinese in the past, the highly bigoted white dominated America of the past never wanted to be fair or establish a lasting peace with the Japanese which is why they kept busting their balls, starving them of supplies, until Japan was forced to attack Pearl Harbor. Hell, the US were constantly trying to sabotage Cuba and kill Castro just to create "justification" to invade and kill to take over Cuba. Hell, the US government and the CIA were even thinking of doing mass shootings in the US and frame Cuba as the perpetrators to fool the American public to be on with war, but thankfully that never came to pass. US being "The good guys" my ass.

I'd like to see an alternate history where the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor, but Hitler never declared war on us and we exclusively fought in the Pacific. We end up taking care of business in the Pacific by 1944, if not earlier, focusing exclusively over there, and then position ourselves in China to defeat the communists there and prop up the KMT and set up allies in Korea and Indochina. Meanwhile, the Soviets on their own take a bit longer to bring down the Nazis, but say they overwhelm Germany and keep going west in 1946 and 1947 to take the Low Countries, France, and mainland Italy, with the British never being in a material position on their own for a cross-channel invasion, but where they secured Africa and the major Mediterranean islands.

So by the late 1940s/early 1950s, the world is effectively split into three spheres:

The USA dominates the Americas, the Pacific (including Australia and New Zealand becoming closer aligned to us out of necessity), East Asia, and Southeast Asia.

The UK holds their realm plus the non-Pacific Commonwealth, Africa (their colonies as well as the leftover French remnants without a country to go back to), and the Middle East.

The USSR dominates effectively all of Eurasia from France in the West to the Pacific in the East.

Leaving behind only a small number of non-aligned countries, like Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and Iran.

I imagine that the point of divergence would be FDR not running in 1940, and the new president being someone that, for whatever reason, doesn't trigger Hitler's paranoia.
