Is it time to finally start or is the game still lacking in content/dead yet?

I actually have room in my phone now that both Genshin and Honkai are on PS5, but I'll still need room for Twinkle Star Knights and possibly Girls Creation next month, so idk if I'll even make room for this. Depends on how rerolling is, for starters.

Anyone looking at Reverse 1999, coming out next week?

It seems to be getting some interest and is a pretty casual game, with quick dailies. Card based combat, which makes it seem relatively relaxed. 'Old' British aesthetic and theme to it as well.

Tempted to try it out.

I'll be trying it out. Apparently they made rerolling a bit less time consuming due to negative feedback they received, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Aigis on its 10th anniversary, doing a rerun of the Koihime collab.

Blue Archive JP is getting a Railgun collab. Mikoto and Misaki as gacha units, and Saten as welfare.

So that's something to look forward to for NA in the future at least.

No. Kuroko lost her chance to be in the game to either Saten or Misaki, depending on how you look at it. Though the collab is specifically with Railgun T, which I believe Misaki was more relevant for than Kuroko, so I'm going to say she lost to Saten.

D4DJ: Groovy Mix updated the song selection menu, and I hate the update so much that it made me uninstall the game on the spot. Before this update, it was very easy for me to filter the list of songs to only songs that I had unlocked but hadn't full-comboed yet. But after this update, the made the menu super convoluted and the filters so much more restrictive than before. After about 20 minutes of fiddling through the menu to see if I could find a way to filter it in a way that even remotely resembled what I could do before this update, I gave up and uninstalled the game out of frustration. So now I'm down to only 2 games again, Revue Starlight ReLive and Star Lusts.

For Arknights players, how you finding chapter 12 mechanics? Took a bit of getting used to just spamming the big boys out straight away, but simple enough so far once adjusted.

And how your Ines pulls go? Got her decently early thankfully.

The stuff revealed in CN also looks intriguing, plus finally a small update about Endfield!

I wanted Ines, but sadly I dropped the game far too long ago I like that shes voiced by Erica Lindbeck too lol

Actually, I may try it again. Ill see how things are and if its enough to warrant going on. I need something to keep my attention from now until 2 am when Reverse 1999 launches lol

I like her a lot so far. Although I'm sort of confused as to how her third skill works. It gives 1 DP when she damages an enemy during the skill duration, but does the skill duration start once you summon her for the first time and she calls back the Shadow Whistle thingy?

Slowly going through it, its been fine so far but I hate those guys that make civilians unblockable.

Still considering rolling for Ines but we're getting closer to the Eyja Alter banner and I may not be able to spark Gavial if I keep rolling for everyone else.

I believe it starts the 2nd time you deploy her, as the first instantly undeploys her and leaves her marker that is used.

Her 2nd skill is the recommended skill to use and much easier to do so.

How is 1999's gacha systems?

Not that I want to try (got my hands full as it is), but just curious.

They made it so you cant collect the pre-registration and bonus rewards until you reached a certain point in the game, and you cant just log out of a guest account to make another, because itll just log you back into the initial guest account D:

I mean the guest account thing is fine assuming you can still use salted emails, but having to go through the story to get the starting bonuses kinda sucks nads.

I probably wont continue playing it though. I knew what I was getting into when I saw gameplay and thought I would like it, but I was mistaken. I must resume my search for another game to fill the void

You do only need to get to 1-4 for the rewards, but salted emails being the only way means it takes 15 mins ish each time.

For anniversary. Red Hood covers all 3 bursts at once with different effects for each.

New and FREE MLB young Snow White.

NIKKE keeps making all the stuff I want free (Yuni skin, Rei, and now loli Snow White), and then I haven't needed to use pity on anything (aside summer Helm who I opted not to get in case my Nier rolls went badly, which they did not).

Salted e-mails aren't the only way. I'm using an emulator for now, I may try the PC client later, and this opens up another method: create a new instance every time you re-roll.

-Install the game on the emulator, enter it an install the hotpatch, and quit the game at the log-in screen
-Close the emulator and clone the instance you installed the game on into a new one and start the clone.
-Log-in as a Guest and do the reroll process. If it doesn't work out, delete the clone and make a new one to start over.

For the reroll process...
-Start the game and finish 1-4. You can skip a lot of stuff to speed this up a bit. You can also choose a dummy name and change it later for free.
-If you're stopping here, you can now collect your pre-registration rewards from your mail and start pulling. This will give you around 10 pulls.
-If you would rather have 29-30 pulls instead, play until you complete 1-11 to unlock the multi play feature. Go to your XP resource farm stage and complete it once to unlock the multi for it.
-Do x4 runs until your account reaches lv5.
-Collect your mail and stuff, then start your pulls.

If you're rerolling, use your rolls for the two rate-up banners instead of the beginner banner. Getting the two rate-up banner characters, A Knight and Sotheby, will set you up for the next patches better.

I posted a primer guide on the game a while ago, post #422, I believe. The dude starts talking about the gacha at the end, starting at 5:04 but I'll just summarize it here.

Unilogs are the pull tickets of the game and Clear Drops can be exchanged for Unilogs, but I'll talk about gacha currencies in a bit.

Soft pity starts at 60 pulls and hard pity is at 70 pulls for a 6* unit. Every 10 pulls guarantees a 4* or better character. 1.5% chance of getting a 6* character from a single pull. Getting the banner character you want on a rate-up banner isn't 100% the first time but you always get it the second time if you didn't get it the first time. The pity counter between rate-up banners also carries over.

The beginner banner guarantees a 6* in 30 pulls once. All three are good but Eternity and Regulus are generally seen as the better ones. Then you'll want to save your pulls for rate-up banners and not the general one, "Amid the Water". After you complete the available content for the game that's out now, you'll get up to 73 summons to start.

In terms of how many pulls a month you get, outside of clear rewards, I'll break it down and split it between F2P and spenders...
-180 Clear Drops just for signing in for 25 days each month. That's enough for one pull.
-For dailies and weeklies, you'll get 90 Clear Drops for clearing your dailies and 100 Clear Drops from weeklies. Weeklies also give you 150 Track of the Lost.
-The bi-weekly content, Artificial Somnambulism, will have a mode called Limbo that will periodically give up to 600 Clear Drops. With two resets on it, you can get up to 1,200 Clear Drops every month.
-You can use Track of the Lost to buy up to 10 Unilogs from the shop every month. 600 TotL cleans this out every month, which you can get from weeklies.
-There's also a battle pass. The free portion of it gives 2 Unilogs each term.

All together, F2P players will get up to 36 pulls a month (again, not counting pulls from one-off places). That's enough to go halfway to hard pity on a banner. That's a total of 4,480 Clear Drops and 12 Unilogs every month.

For spenders of various levels...
-The monthly pass, Roaring Month ($5), gives you 300 Crystal Drops up front and 90 Clear Drops every day for 30 days (2,700 CD total). Crystal Drops can be exchanged for Clear Drops. This has the greatest return value over any cash item in the game. Just with the pass, you are now bumped up to 51 pulls a month.
-The paid battle pass tiers give 5 more Unilogs ($10 tier) and 400 Clear Drops (at the $15 tier).
-The monthly bundle, Offer of the Month, gives 10 Unilogs and 1,800 Clear Drops. That's 20 pulls for $26.

Spenders can get up to 79 pulls a month, not counting one-off packages and stuff.
