Crazy, but entirely unsurprising, that theyre not going to put down the pitbull. I don't get it either. I know someone who got their finger bit off trying to separate their two dogs from fighting. The dog that did it had been a big problem leading up to that point and the lady who had her figure bit off wanted to have the dog put down after the incident. Her husband didn't want to though. Shockingly, no one wanted the dog (not even shelters), so eventually she got her way. Pits dont do anything any differently than other dogs of the same strength. If a dog is biting another dog you dont grab them by the neck you grab them by the back legs and pick them up and then try to place them on their backs. That will get the dog to release their bites. Hes super sweet although he has had some minor biting incidents in the past (which is why Im cautious about all pit bulls and pit bull mixes. Hes super sweet although he has had some minor biting incidents in the past (which is why Im cautious about all pit bulls and pit bull mixes.
