Im sorry about the dog and this isnt true. I volunteered in a pound for years and there are ways to get dogs to let go of a bite. Pits dont do anything any differently than other dogs of the same strength. If a dog is biting another dog you dont grab them by the neck you grab them by the back legs and pick them up and then try to place them on their backs. That will get the dog to release their bites.

Grabbing them by the neck doesnt do much and if you ever see someone trying to restrain a dog by doing that it never works.
