Crazy, but entirely unsurprising, that theyre not going to put down the pitbull. What if it were to do that to a human, child, etc?

I don't get it either. I know someone who got their finger bit off trying to separate their two dogs from fighting. The dog that did it had been a big problem leading up to that point and the lady who had her figure bit off wanted to have the dog put down after the incident. Her husband didn't want to though.

Shockingly, no one wanted the dog (not even shelters), so eventually she got her way. But she had to live in the house with the dog for over a week after it happened.
