If it doesnt hurt anyone, why should it be illegal? Espicially if its a media where you can just... not buy/play/read/watch/listen to it, if you dont want to. Though i do like the idea of having multiple options in a simple product so you can customize your experience. As an example i love the idea of difficulty settings, espicially the ones that you an customize. Theres no effort being put in to half of these characters. I bet you a lot of the anger would go away if there was just a quality product.
