Also, I personally prefer them, because defecating in a non-unisex toilet is literally hell (they always have cubicles that aren't suitable, with gaps below and above).
Confusing why anyone would want gendered public toilets at all. We've advanced beyond them, in the 21st century.

Forcing is a problem, yeah, but the idea behind it is normalization, same with couples of all types who use "partner."

As it stands, specifying pronouns or using "partner" is a big flashing neon sign that is just "QUEER" with an arrow pointing at the person.

(To pre-empt, queer has been retaken as an overall affirming term and is not used negatively here)

By getting gender and sexual majorities to use it, it lessens the "otherness" of the practice.

So this fake-ass company has the right idea but they did it wrong. I'll try to have words with Jake's mental HR department, but it's a fucking mess.

Pronouns are not a medical record showing your assigned at birth gender and whether it is the same as your current identity. Referring to people requires some sort of pronoun, knowing which one to use for each employee reduces confusion and potential misgendering.

Whats the difference between somebody putting he/him in an email, and wanting coworkers to refer to them as him? It would only be outing them if the written and verbal didn't match.
