Not forced. Anyone who wants to is welcome to. Many people in my job do it and its just common by now.

In regards to pronouns:
Everyone should be free to include them, just like everyone should be free not to include pronouns in their email.

Public restrooms should always be unisex cubicles, that way there's no issues with anyone using any.
Also, I personally prefer them, because defecating in a non-unisex toilet is literally hell (they always have cubicles that aren't suitable, with gaps below and above).
Confusing why anyone would want gendered public toilets at all. We've advanced beyond them, in the 21st century.

Why should a company have a right to know your pronouns if you do not wish to disclose them? Just like they shouldn't have a right to know your sexuality.

Or 2: Lie and label themselves with a pronoun they're uncomfortable with, which will also make people take them less seriously if or when they are ready to actually come out.

It's asking what pronouns you want people to use, they're going to use them no matter what. This is simple to understand and I'm tired of trying to explain it, the people throwing tantrums over pronouns are transphobes who resent it being something people are asked instead of assigned and everyone here knows that.

Pronouns are not private, and they do not have to be gendered. Their entire purpose is to make it simpler to refer to someone without going into clunky detail about them.

Hold on, if they're closeted aren't they 'lying' already? If you're a closeted trans woman and someone asks you your pronouns you say he/him because that's what being closeted means.

They are if you fucking want them to be. Because people are still bigots. People can still hurt you and your career by discriminating against you for being LGBTQ+. They can often still do so with no consequences. And forcing someone to display their pronouns gives these people a chance to do it.

A non binary person can tell their friends and family, and be referred to with they/them in their personal life. They can do this while remaining he/him or she/her in their professional life, because they don't want to take the risks I mentioned above. That's there choice. You can not force people to out themselves at work.
