Ya, though not that surprising because they always return to their previous victims as if it's some sort of rotating wheel of bigotry, this year's pride is different from many years because it used to be they just let them have their month and be done with it. Now they're actively trying to cancel and harass them during Pride month so they can't even enjoy it, even when they make progress in tolerance it's only a matter of time until the hate train comes for them again.

And when they bring that up, one can simply ask for one reference in the new testament where Jesus was discriminatory (hint, it doesn't exist). And they get really irritated when you ask what Jesus said was the most important commandment (love God with all your heart) then the 2nd most important (love your neighbor as much as yourself). And when asked who one's "neighbor" is, Jesus explicitly states it can be anyone. He tell stories about helping Samaritans, helping prostitutes and many other examples.

Then you remind that person they are stuck on rules, not morals. Ask them if that sounds more Christlike or more Pharisee-like?

That shuts them up - 100% of the time.

This coming from a Christian himself who just had a pretty heated argument over the weekend with someone who was claiming, "go woke, go broke" - made for a fun Father's day conversation around a bonfire.

Trump. He also fits gluttony and sloth.

There's something innately disturbing about people not enjoying same-sex romance of what you find attractive and instead yelling, "Heathens! God shall punish ye!".

It's a normal reaction for people to see girls or guys kissing and getting a little intrigued.

It's not a normal reaction to tie those people to a wooden pole and burn them alive for "witchcraft".
