The FBI is all about manipulating and messing with people into committing crimes, coming down on them and justifying their continued corrupt existence to the public this way, they're right up there with the IRS and CIA in corruption and shit, they're what every corrupt cop aspire to be.

There's a unique FBI angle to this, but it's also in line with what enforcement agencies do in general. They have a bias towards easy cases since there's a small chance of failure and they require fewer resources. Considerations like whether x person should actually be targeted or whether things will actually be improved by going after them don't always factor in. Just get your easy win and say we stopped racism/terrorism/fraud etc.

At least they arent plotting actual terrorist attacks, just spending our tax dollars catching fake terrorists to justify their budget. Now if they somehow were involved in false flag terror attacks and that was proven, that would be a far bigger story
