Finally decided to knock this one out since it's shutting down in 3 weeks making certain trophies unobtainable and there's no guarantee when the game comes back next year it'll be these same trophies.

Just a lot of do this thing X amount of times or this match type X amount of times. 500 matches in a party is definitely the longest because you actually need to have someone from your friend list on your team helping you. Playing Team matches with a random doesn't count towards that.

Anyway it's better than that Nickelodeon one, but not anywhere near the same level as Smash Bros.

Is the 500 party matches different on PS5? I played on PS4, and in that version, your partner doesn't have to be on your friend list for matches to count towards that trophy. If you play with a random partner, the first set doesn't count, but if they stay after that set and form a party with you, all following matches count.

I do think 500 party matches was excessive because it's much more of an escalation from how many times you have to do things for other trophies. The number could have been cut in half for this one, and it would have still been more than enough. I know the devs have said they intend to bring the game back next year, but between the Warner Bros chaos, the live service bubble currently bursting, and the fact that everyone, even the alleged fans, called this a dead game so much it was clear they actively wanted it dead, I'll believe it when I see it.

If the game doesn't come back, I wonder what they plan to do about unused character tokens. I believe one of the Founders packs came with more character tokens then there were characters to use them on.

It's a game I've played hundreds of hours in but it's also one of my favorite games of all time

Yeah it's not a game I've ever really been interested in playing but the platinum looks absolutely brutal in both length and difficulty
