No. Teachers dont have qualified immunity. Why lie?

If a gym teacher does that they go to jail and can be sued in civil court. The school is only liable if they are at fault.

That still doesnt make any sense. Cops are employed by the government. They get a salary paid by tax payers, as they should. I dont want private police forces, I want accountable police forces.

When a cop screws up, it should come out of their own money.
