I wish the Gov would enact some type of litigation reform that really cuts the perceived power of some of these attorneys. It's ridiculous the shit I have to deal with at work.

It's still not enough. Let me tell you a story about what happened to me yesterday to tell you what I deal with. A paralegal is like a certificate program. It doesn't take a genius or any real intelligence to be a paralegal. No offense to any paralegals here but you probably act like this too so maybe full offense.

I call an attorney to discuss a demand I received with insufficient supporting docs. His paralegal answers and puts me on hold. She comes back on the line and says, "Hello?" So I say back very friendly, "Hey!" so she knows I'm still there.

Do you know what she did? She immediately became nasty with a nasty ass tone and screamed, "My name isn't 'Hey,' it's Sean so don't disrespect me."

Ma'am. My name isn't "Hello" and I didn't have a fucking conniption when you said it to me. Get a fucking life.

He's making a video game and is absolutely obsessing over every possible thing about it. Including marketability, trademarks, etc. He's also the only person I know who reads every EULA in full.

He still probably doesn't. Copyright and trademark law is extremely complex and often decided in court from a judge's interpretation of the facts.

I was reading a historical novel about Roman lawyers, and as they explain how the obviously corrupt legal system works the characters are like "this is the fucking best. This is perfection. There is literally no way this can ever be improved, and I have dedicated my life to mastering this art".

And it reminds me of modern lawyers explaining the modern legal system.
