Generally the ones generalizing all GOP/conservative voters as sociopaths, motivated solely by spite, or motivated solely by "PWN the libz" Or that conservatism is a mental disorder, which gets into pretty scary territory. There were also 2-3 leftist posters who accused damn near everyone of being conservative or supporting the GOP at one point or another. Bear in mind of course that there were also some shitposters there pretending to be liberal, such as Orca and Tony Kojima. There were also a few who stated that they shun family members who are/vote conservative. Oh, and a few people (not very many, but a few) who insist that we should have executed every Confederate soldier (not just the generals and the politicians previously in power) during the reformation. Sure if the definition of political wasn't some arbitrary definition. Religion topics. Difficult to argue religion hasn't gotten political. Topics complaining a video game/entertainment has gone woke/westernized/buzzword because it has more than one non white person in it. The Sony and anime board is classic for whining they need giant anime tit waifus, with those discussions definitely taking a political turn if anyone dares to disagree. Hell just this board alone, it's literally titled "Current Events." Given the atmosphere, many events that occur ends up being political to someone. Ultimately I don't see how this solves the political problem. But now, for the most part I agree with the above statement about conservatives voting out of spite and hate. I have a cousin who has voted Democrat his entire life and is usually on the democratic side. But he dislikes trans and thinks they shouldn't exist, so even though he is anti religious, he rather side with them then vote for people that support trans people. Every conservative I talk to is also a closeted racist or drinks from the trump Kool aid. Conservatism is terrible. I am sure they shunned the family members cause they started spouting hate speech and repeated evil talking points that the GOP and right wing media told people.
