They also tend to be very fit, thus they're agile or fast in their art of combat. A weapon is only as good as it's user regardless of how deadly it is, no combat experience with little to no empahsis on exercise puts you at major disadvantage... Lack of exercise means you have no stamina and speed. It would make it easy for a trained boxer to tire you out, that's all he needs to do. They will keep making you miss punches until you leave yourself open for various blows. Or worst case scenario, he will go for the finishing blow right away.
