I have yet to see one town do well when they do this shit. Well I won this game but still.

You kept your vote on Sultan who I knew their shot would fail.
You kept your vote on Corrik who had the whole game solved so of course I'm going to hammer him.
You can always unvote if you don't want votes hammered, but you left the vote open to be hammered twice.

Also i had the game to a completely solvable state day 1 and then you all kept lynching my town reads.

oh yeah and peaf we tried to kill you three nights in a row but night 2 you commuted, night 3 you roleblocked ctes, and night 4 ctes backed up lopen's role and roleblocked and killed you. you were 100% the biggest obstacle for scum.

good game all, i hope we can just have a civil postgame regardless of the errors made this game by village. scum was far from perfect too.

I can't be certain but I believe Ulti is mad.

Marth being scum makes so much sense now. I was wondering what the hell of a throw that was when he hammered Corrik lmao

For the record, I was completely blind to the setup. Very unfortunate loss for town when Peaf, Dumey, Wallz, and MZero had all played their roles superbly, but Marth completely had me fooled. Was not expecting him to be Godfather. Poor Red! Guess it was a blessing in disguise that he was killed off early with how many roles made his powered-up Cop difficult to use.

Very fun game to watch. Shout-out to Sheep for the awesome flavor!

I think the game was thrown by town (by no fault of scum we were just super underpowered vs that town configuration imo) but pretty much everyone aside from Peaf Dumey and wallz helped that, and Marth's play was excellent and he was town scanned. Ulti doesn't get to say he had a good game because he put a marginal amount of effort into the final day.

People make fun of me for trying to guess scum teams early but that is ultimately what mafia is. You have to guess who is paired and then also explain why. Corrik made Marth look so townish late by just being completely lazy and boiling gamestate to godfather vs no godfather, giving no real justification on any reads (they were great, really, but I absolutely saw why you were lynched and thats why I said to Marth "just hammer him if you feel like it") and making it look like ctes could be town. Then Ulti idles on Corrik all day and then tries to call Marth scummy for hammering him-- he should have been going for that Marth assault yesterday when ctes hadn't flipped yet.

yeah, no i would've done everything to ensure that ctes got lynched if i were town. i just made as many distractions as possible like pushing mzero and edumey while everyone was pushing sultan and corrik and chris while they forgot all about ctes. i 100% would have lost if ctes didn't cheese his way through all those votes so really good job to him.

I had Marth as town until the final day. Backup almost always activates instantly but he was just casually talking about ctes backing up Lopen after Chris died. At the time I just thought he didn't know how backup worked around here, but after the flip it was obvious to me he knew too much

I was the ColecoVision and inspired Sheep to make this setup I guess. Hope I did you proud!

You guys need to learn how interactions work more for your reads. Arguing Sultan was scum? Ulti was scum? Edumey was scum? Mzero was scum after Chris flipped? What was even going on this game.

Disappointed in what I just played with.

Ulti you did great with the final 3. I don't know if you can claim this game doesn't count as a loss since you definitely helped contribute to killing Corrik (for hammering Sultan who you supported the lynch of and were wrong about from the start of the game) over Ctes as well. But at the very least, these last two days you did great.

I made my fair share of mistakes and don't claim to be blameless here either. I basically nailed Death into his coffin based off of breadcrumbs I shouldn't have trusted. And didn't consider the idea that Ctes could be untargettable when talking about the Sultan plan when I knew Backup was a thing because of the Peaf kill. I still think without the backup-thing there, that my logic on testing Sultan there was correct, but once again I should have stuck to me guns of "don't get distracted, just lynch scum."

Peaf would definitely get town MVP from my perspective, and shame we didn't win for him. He never gave up on thinking Marth was scum from the start, even with the scan. He was able to stop tunneling me when I caught Lopen. He told me SBell was town in neighbor chat and I kind of ignored it after lynching Sultan. And he was a consistent thorn in scum's side for night actions.

Ctes living as long as he did was hilarious. Absolutely should not have been allowed to, but that was town's fault. Partly mine for trying to be cute with the Sultan lynch. Partly Ulti and SBell for stupidly sitting on Corrik and not engaging with the game.

GG's all, I feel like I learned a lot more from this game than the usual.

I had TMI but Sultan was very obvious town all game and I could not comprehend any of the votes on him.

Actually a reason I didn't want to claim it it seemed like a role that was a bit odd.
But also for shock value.

And yeah I was shooting ctes thought about Marth or corrik as well but I was like yo we got Ctes dead can we not. This has been a very poorly town game but also thought Marth played very well

Had to be town due to interaction with Lopen via roles. If Sultan was coached or made that claim on the scum board, Lopen would have had more of an inkling of why those couldn't exist together. Instead he worried about making his fakeclaim than understanding sultans role in relation.

Genuinely one of the toughest town foes I've faced. I really appreciate good competition. You were amazing that game.

Oh, cool, the game's over. I was only loosely following and wondered if Sultan had just outright goofed and forgotten to shoot when he got lynched for Vengeful, but then everyone else goofed and forgot to do anything to Ctes, instead going for Corrik because ????

Like, yes, Corrik was backsliding into old abrasive habits, but still. That's for day 1, not for day 5 lynches.

They absolutely can. Two unlikely conditional kills causing early lylo is not out of the question.

Side note I absolutely hate that setup had Commuter to counter a commuter claim and multiple day roles to target me. That's probably my biggest problem with the setup. My role was basically designed to be caught.

Congrats scum. Its a bummer to lose this way but overall deserved L for town. I learned a lot. Hopefully we will get another game going soon.
