It was so funny to watch all these pilots pick it apart before he admitted to it. I love how the entire aviation community united against this idiot, like breaking down his video moment by moment, frame by frame. Like not the obvious stuff like noticing how his door was open before his "engine failure" or how he brought along a skydiving parachute and selfie stick. But noticing how he pitching his aircraft so the propeller would stop windmilling for dramatic effect, noticing how he had fire extinguishers strapped to his legs and a Glock on his chest (it's mountain lion country), why there are no clear shots of the instrument panel, etc. I'm guessing that he purposely didn't have enough fuel for the trip and exhausted his fuel over the mountains. Probably why the plane didn't burst into flames on impact. But he had those fire extinguishers in case it did. I hope his friends who helped him clean the mess up also get charged as accessories. ...
