The wind temple boss theme rules. They stepped up the music in this

I don't know if my way was intended or not, but I'm proud of the flying machine I built that got me all the way to the floating sky labyrinth in the north of the map. It won't let me in yet, but at least I can warp there for later.

A lot of the time, I just go from shrine to shrine to unlock more of the world.

Sometimes when you're riding those rocks up you'll see another rock falling and you can glide over to those and get even higher.

Man paragliding sure is different when you have flying shit barrel rolling at you constantly and you have to swerve. This game is the absolute best.

I love some of the 'quests'. I just finished 'starting' this one quest where I jumped off the side of this island and had to free fall through these circles until I made it to the bottom, opening a shrine. It was pretty rad. Then I found out I wasn't even on the ground. I was just on another sky island.

Done 46 shrines so far. I've seen 4 of those 3 headed dragons and noped away from them every time.

All I'm doing right now is shrines. I've been playing aaallll day.

I've got 6 hearts and I need 1 more stamina container to fill the second circle.

I thought the amount of exploration in Breath of the Wild was insane... This game has soooo much more.

Ok this game needs some kind of way to pocket an ultra hand thingy and pull it out later. Not auto build but rather I just want to be able to build something somewhere and then use it somewhere else without needing to carry it there on foot using ultra hand.

Like I'm exploring the depths right now and there's a sweet cache of a wing + cart + 2 rockets + 2 fans + 2 batteries + control stick and a really sweet looking cliff nearby that would be sick AF to launch from but I can't unless I spend an insane amount building it up there.

What the FUCK! The first thing I see when I finally make it back home in Hateno Village is some dirty Korok hanging out in my backyard. Dumped that sucker off a cliff and hope he doesn't come back

Yeah I walked in and it's still there. No weapon racks tho. But Zelda's diary is in there, so Link and Zelda were living together and boning every single day.

Riding around on the underground minecarts with glowy lights is pretty good fun.

The hot areas are pretty dangerous, like the Gerudo Desert. I noticed the high heat now starts quite far away from the flat area.

You know, I haven't managed to get to a single decent sized sky island, with the exception of the starting area.

I had to look up where Hestu's dumb ass is. He is in an area I visited but came from the sky to so I completely missed him. I had 20 seeds stocked up

i'm hoping to run into hestu too, and kakariko village, and just about everything else. also forgot where i upgraded my hearts on the ground too. i just feel lost all the time.

I ordered totk on amazon like on saturday. Said it be here Sunday. Ofc didn't come yesterday.. now it say it arriving Tuesday.

To be fair there is a non-trivial chance that they played the leaked game.

Though it's still insanely impressive all the same. This game really is open when it comes to letting you express yourself with what you build.

That's exactly how I feel. I've had times where I'm like "wait a minute, I don't remember this area" even though I combed the world previously.

I have a dumb story/timeline question, spoilers for BotW and early TotK. Zelda lived 100 years before BotW. Did she come back at the end of BotW and I just forgot? I remember her helping with the Ganon fight but thought it was just a memory. If this becomes clear in TotK, dont tell me the answer.

Ordered months ago, said it was coming on the 22nd. Updated to release day delivery as I was in line to cancel the order at midnight release, had to spend 5 bucks to send it back.

Ok after about 10 hours playing Ive reached the conclusion that while this game is amazing. Theres a huge disconnect between side stuff and main plot.

it feels like Im running around exploring the map and finding cool s***. But that the only reason Im doing that is because I know if I just tackle the main plot the game will be over in 3 hours.

I wish the side stuff was more connected to the main plot and gave more armor rewards or unlocks that connected to the main plot because then this game would be perfect.

Always love going through a cave, using ascend at the end of it, and popping out the side of some mountain.

What am I supposed to do with these solitary toad statues?

Ive found a couple with plates in front of them that dont have any indication nearby or what Im supposed to drop in them. They have flames on either side

So far I am adoring this. It's fixed almost everything I disliked about the first while keeping the(far more numerous) things I loved.

I still do not get why activating a shrine just leaves you standing outside it. Why not just have him enter....

Also, the people saying the combat is still not great are insane, this game has some of the most fun combat I've seen in awhile because of how the abilities work with it.

Let's say you don't want to actually do the shrine, but you want to be able to warp to it, that is why. Once you activate it, it becomes a warp point. You clear the shrine to get the upgrade macguffin

Can you fuse things to shields/weapons from your inventory like bows or do you have to take the item and drop it on the ground first?

Have to take them out and drop them, but you can hold up on the D-pad to select them at least

Apparently those railsyou can shield surf grind across them

I've always gone to a shrine to activate it and then continue whatever quest I was on. If I had to activate the shrine and enter it just to leave it again, it would take a lot more time. This is much more preferred tbh.

oh dear god, I never thought of that. Also, I've attached my bow to my shield lol. I have no clue if it does anything but lol...

and I've also attached a rocket to my shield and had surprising results.

Frankly everyone should do that with one of their shields period. Shields in this game as insanely busted with sticking things to them -> something crazy happens.

Also, finally got the complete Fierce Deity set! I have to say, the weapon is pretty OP considering you can basically get it right off the bat. Doubly so with the set's innate +Atk passive.

It doesn't, no. If you want to do something else "basic" like that attach a shield to your shield to "supercharge" the defense stat.

Fused objects keep their recall from before they were fused. So if you shoot an arrow fused with something non-destructive into the air, like wood or something, then attach it to something you can ride, like a plank, you can recall the wood and ride the plank up.

Anyone know where the other forges are? I assume either sky islands or Depths, but I haven't found any besides the one on the Great Sky Island. Really annoying being able to buy only 10 crystallized charges at once.
