Alright. Finally did the first Dungeon and I think this may be the best game Ive played in years.

I only have 2 complaints

i wish armor sets werent bought and were unlocked through quests so that treasure rewards were better

and that the old style of dungeons came back. I love the look and feel of the dungeons, but just finding a single lock is fairly boring

The game scales with your max hearts. The real problem is you need to upgrade your armor. Go find some great fairies

The weather system pisses me off in this game. It's so basic and easy to circumvent, and leaves a lot of potential on the table.

They spent so much time on the game and poured so much love into it but the weather is like a forgotten stepchild. It's baffling.

My game world turned super red (like there was a blood moon or whatever) for like 15 seconds out of nowhere and had super intense scary music, then it went back to normal. What was up with that? I was by the tower near Kakariko

I assume that Gloomy Hands spawned nearby. I'm still not entirely sure how they work. Do they have set locations or can they just spawn at random? I managed to despawn them just before when I didn't feel like fighting them.

Yeah the only effective method I've found to fight them is to climb up a wall, get them to bunch up, jump off, and spam bomb arrows. Maybe ice works if you can get all five hands at once. But I've attached other stuff to arrows to see if they do anything and nothing else seems particularly useful.

A comment in the vid got it working 100% for me, up to 20 diamonds now. It's not the quick double pause which screws up, it's not hitting pause quick enough after starting the fusion.

I figure out that the most crucial factor for 100% duplication to occur is that you have to pause when the arrow is fusing with what you are duplicating. And to confirm that you are doing right, you can always check the background if there are some green rays (which shows that you are still fusing) when you pause. If there is no green ray, its very likely you fail to duplicate the item.

Pure armor stat wise the Hyrule set from the Lookout Landing shop is easy to get to 2* upgrade and will probably be your best armor set until you find all the rare shit to upgrade the armor with set bonuses.

I'm finding armor extremely frustrating. The cooler armor can't be upgraded at all which fucking sucks. I got the Evil Spirit armor from some really annoying puzzles and its meant to be this big reward and while looking cool asf, its worse than the Stealh set from Kakariko because you can't fucking upgrade the base 3 armor stat that it starts with.

Don't worry about getting good weapons early thanks to the dura system. Just keep fusing monster/zonai parts to your most durable gear.

now in TotK if I see a Black Moblin I charge in because that Horn is so valuable

Another thing to mention is that like botw, this game runs on a points system as far as enemy variants go. If you kill a bunch of boss monsters and all the blue and black enemies you see, you go up the color tiers to silver faster as the hard enemies, mini bosses, and bosses are worth the most points.

If you want good shit fast go for hinox, talus, etc every blood moon.

Those white platforms are expensive. If you're looking to dump zonaite, make a contraption using those white platforms that don't fall.

That's because that's what it started out as. The developers were using it during the process and then realized that it would be cool to have the players use it so they implemented into the game. They just had to look in every nook and cranny to make sure that it wouldn't completely cheese everything and destroy the game.

Kinda dulls the high when I hit a rock with lighting by accident a few minutes before and got another diamond. I like that the game has found a way to make consumables fun and useful but almost every reward being super transient is kind of a bummer.
