They've been transitioning in to more of a general entertainment company slowly for quite a while, it's one of the reasons I kinda fell off of watching Hololive as the idol stuff doesn't interest me at all . I don't think streaming will ever fully drop off, but I do think they want the focus to shift because of the saturation of the vtuber streaming market these days.
