I can dig it.

I'll be interested to see the average power that Nebula puts on the board after a month of data. I'm guessing it'll be closer to 3 than 5 which is pretty good for a 1 energy card with no downside but it's probably not ridiculous enough to need a nerf.

They nerfed Sunspot who was fine as he was.

As a Season Pass card, itll be a long time for Nebula to be common enough to achieve that

Although I guess based on that logic, they might nerf Shang-Chi lol

If you were playing Sunspot in your deck, most times you're better off just running Nebula now.

i think the most interesting change to nebula would be to split the +2 between you and your opponent. i. e. +1 on each turn your opponent doesn't play a card there and +1 on each turn you don't play a card there

Basically, I've been using Nebula in my Kingpin/Opponent Movement Deck

So that way it baits people from filling out my Kingpin lane by forcing them to fill out the Nebula one instead. Helps when using Professor X to bait them into using in Nebula's lane so I can snipe a lane with him turn 5.

And if people just ignore Nebula, I end up with a 7-9ish power Nebula while I beef up other lanes.

last 3 variants I've gotten, feeling incredibly spoiled. only better one for those three imo is snowboard patriot

I got that Patriot and Vision somewhat recently too! But I already have the sledding Patriot so that's what I use.

Am I the only person who thinks that Chibi Variants are worse than pixel? Pixel are at least funny sometimes because they're so bad. Chibi variants are just boring.

Some Chibi ones are better than others.

I love my Hela one, for instance.

I don't care for most of the chibi/baby variants. Except for Electro, who looks like he'd fit in Mega Man.

Pixel variants would be my favourite if they looked good.

good chibi and baby variants are definitely rare. for patriot specifically i just dont like any of his other variants (aside from snow one) but it's a decent chibi

I think Electra would be really good if she did that and had Jeff's ability to deploy anywhere too. (Not his movement though)

You can only play 4 cards maximum so if they drop her on turn 1 she's a 1/3 MINIMUM, plus she essentially did an Aero effect for 4 of your turns.

imo make her effect Ongoing, then I'll gladly play Rogue on her every game.

Having had Klaw in my deck forever and adding Jeff when he came out, I've done this multiple times.

I've had good success with Miles Morales to take advantage of his movement too.

I actually play Electra!

...Because it's a Beast deck full of one-drops I'd really rather not kill and gives me more cheap Hit-Monkey and Bishop boosts, but hey, it's a niche.

In the Bynx/Brode stream he mentioned that Jeff can play into Ebony Maw's lane, which I never thought about. I also have Klaw and Doom so it seems super strong to bring Maw back in. Had a great time with him in early pool 3.

Congratulations to all the people who are in a position in their lives to purchase that new bundle.

Its interesting to me that if you Hulkbuster Jeff, you essentially have a better Vision for the same cost. The only drawback is that you need to draw 2 cards instead of one.

God that bundle is insulting. Effectively $80 for 1.67 Series 5 cards, plus mandatory 900 gold bought?

And Vision can move every turn if you can get it out before turn 5, while Jeff only gets one

Pretty much the only time you'd move vision twice is if the +2 power when moving location is in play though. Otherwise the ability is kinda just for fun. I've psylocked into Vision many times and have very rarely got any actual benefit of moving twice

Have to say, the only time my Nebula has been Killmongered so far was against decks with Nova

but I only got to 50 last season so Im not playing many good players yet

Lol I discarded a Helicarrier and got an Agatha Harkness out of it. So she keeps playing and there's a swap hands at turn 6 location. The other guy snaps and I sneak in a win because he was stuck only able to play Agatha in one location while I secured the rest.

Top tier Agatha strat. And it finally made my "Playing Agatha" title true!

Yeah, though you wouldnt run both at the same time, High Evos ability kicks in at the start of the game, not when hes played, so Patriot wouldnt help them.

and also Patriot affects ability-less summoned cards (squirrel, ninja, raptor, Rock, demon, winter soldier, Illusion, etc) while High Evo does not

This is the Wong deck I've been using, pretty standard but it gets the job done. My favourite wins are when I drop the enemies to like negative 100.

The season before last is shot from 10 to 70 in what felt like no time, and so far Ive been getting my ass KICKED for the past month or so, even back down in the 20s.

I think I'm ready for people to stop experimenting with Nebula so I can stop seeing dumb lockout decks every other game. It's like people remembered they can use Daredevil and Prof X all of a sudden again now that Nebula was released.

You can put Nebula in other decks! Stop trying to build around Nebula you fools!

I watched Brode's talk a while ago on the GDC site, it's really great. My 2 fav things are: The framing of chef/ingredients/supermarket for game design. And the fact that it took FOUR YEARS to figure out the monetization and progression design of the game. People (even game devs who don't do F2P) don't realize how much that IS the game.
