We all know it was considered one of the weaker entries in the Zelda franchise, and for a while was part of a serious downturn in the series' popularity, but how did you actually feel about it? Like it? Love it? Dislike it? Well?

I enjoyed it. I prefer the more darker zeldas over the more colourful whimsical ones like wind Walker.

Tears of Light were annoying and actively dragged the game down, as did any wolf combat sections.

But other than that I loved it. Dungeons were great, arsenal was fun, boss fights felt cool as shit despite how easy they were.

I think Id have tolerated the wolf link segments better if more of them were the "sneak around and find things you cant as normal link" instead of "kill bugs" lol

Oh, also, game had the hottest Zelda waifu, Ashei.

Great game, very underrated nowadays. Most of the dungeons are among the best in the Zelda series, with the Arbiter's Grounds and Yeti Mansion being standouts. The art style and character design was very weird, but in a good weird way.

It sometimes boggles my mind how Wind Waker is much more liked nowadays.

Liked it more than TWW. But TWW was my least favourite until BotW.

Imo, the best Zelda that's got the pure Zelda formula

Its one of my favorite games ever, just wish the difficulty was a bit higher and the sandbox had more use outside of the dungeons where you get the new items.

The visuals, the story, the overall gameplay was fantastic.

I actually just beat it for the first time about a week ago. Id tried to beat it twice before and had lost interest both times.

I like it this time around. Longer game than Id anticipated. I liked the darker tone of the game, and the dungeons were good. Also liked the used of double hook shots, that was a nice feature.

Disliked how big Hyrule Field is. It feels needlessly big. I also didnt care for battles, whenever those became a necessary part of the game.

Overall though, it was a solid game.

in hindsight it does have some rather bland stretches but for the most part i enjoyed it. the dungeons were great, and some of the items were satisfying af. pretty rich with backstory if you take the time to absorb it and connect the dots as well.

But it admittedly has a special place in my heart due to the time it came out.

I was not able to finish Twilight Princess because the wolf parts gave me nausea. It's the only 3D Zelda I haven't finished.

I love it. The only real flaw is it has a very long and tedious beginning for me. Once you get past the hurdle it's consistently just fantastic with probably my favorite dungeon designs in the entire franchise. And the spirt bug sections, just not really fun to do at all.

The most forgettable Zelda game I've played.

My personal favorite 3D Zelda game. Admittedly it was the first game I played in the series, so I might be a bit biased there.

Played OoT for the 3DS a few years later, and while I still enjoyed it, it didn't have the "wow" factor that I had when playing TP. It's grown on me over the years, though.

It has some boring bits and the first few dungeons just feel like OoT again, even with the radically different stories between them. I also don't like playing through the dungeons that much. They have cool aesthetics and gimmicks, but they're long and large and tedious if you don't know where to go at any given time.

The combat is great though. I love all the new moves you unlock. They made fighting Darknuts and King Bulbin lots of fun. The Spinner is also a blast to use, although that and the Dominion Rod really coulda used more opportunities to shine cuz they're cool gimmicks.

The weird character designs are neat and Link and Zelda both look great. Midna is a great character. Such a little shit, but you grow to love her as she develops.

It's not my favorite Zelda game. It's at least behind WW, BotW, and MM for me. But I did play through it several times, so it's not bad.

I enjoy all Zelda games, but it was definitely a weaker entry for me Not horrible or anything I think part of it comes from how it kept coming out, and people kept asking to port it more Like it came out on GameCube and Wii And people kept saying to port it to Wii U, when you come already play it on the Wii U with the Wii menu. Then after it came out for the Wii U, they wanted it ported to Switch, even though there were other games they couldve used a Switch port more, at the time

Even when I (and some others) knew Skyward Sword port was coming out for Switch, people still thought it was going to be Twilight Princess again We really dont need it for 4 consoles in a row

I liked the streamlined item selection and the dungeons were actually kinda cool. There was just a lot of padding and they didn't really do anything super cool with the Twilight Realm other than fighting those Heartless guys over and over.

yeah i do recall expecting the twilight realm to be something more in line with LttP's Dark World and feeling a twinge of disappointment there

i liked it. it's been almost 17 years since i played it. i been wanting to replay that one and windwaker. i did recently finally beat skyward sword when it came out on switch and still say that's the worst 3d console one easily.

midna was kinda annoying but not as bad as navi or anything. wolf link was a bit different. but gave it a little majoras mask vibe plus with how dark the game was. but yea it's definitely lower on the tear list but a lot of that is just how great the series has been.

Pretty great. Just not innovative enough for the time it came out to be a 10/10 across the board like OoT and BotW.

Also wolf sections are so unnecesary.

I absolutely loved it, but I played it over half my lifetime ago and am undoubtedly looking at it through rose-colored glasses at this point. I don't want to replay it and shatter that memory.

Wii bad, Gamecube good, Wii U great

It was fun and had its moments, but holy shit the opening is an absolute slog of a chore to get through, and quite frankly it's pretty obvious which segment of the population that imp Midna was catering to.

Quite enjoyed it. The slow start understandably hurts it, though. It definitely suffers from Dragon Quest 7 syndrome.

It was great for it's time. Suffers from some pacing issues in the beginning.

Tears of light quests weren't even that bad. Lol.

I don't think it aged well. Graphically, the Wii U HD version was a disappointment. Textures were bad in some areas and a lot of models also should have gotten reworked. Gameplay was pretty simple.
