The last time I played a Yakuza game was like 2019 which was Kiwami 1. Before that I did play Yakuza 0.

But its been so long, I don't remember anyones names or who anyone is apart from a few important people (Kiryu, Nishki, Majima, and the guy who died at the end of Yakuza 0)
I hardly even remember what happened in Kiwami 1, although I do remember Yakuza 0 a bit better.
Yakuza clan names, peoples names, location names, whoever haruya or that cop guy is, I know those 2 were important but I forgot mostly everything about them

I think 2 still has those recap graves. I recommend just checking them out.

Tojo Clan - Ruling power in the Kanto region, headquartered in Tokyo. Basically a conglomerate of dozens, if not hundreds, of local yakuza families that are ostensibly working together and not getting in each other's way.

Dojima Family - A former family within the Tojo Clan. Kiryu's old family. Patriarch was Sohei Dojima and his death kicked off the first (Kiwami 1) Yakuza story. Now currently dissolved.

Omi Alliance - Ruling power in the Kansai region, headquartered in Osaka. Larger in manpower and area covered than the Tojo Clan, but Tojo has more centralized and metropolitan influence.
