JW4 fixed the major problem I had with JW3 (3's plot felt totally disjointed, like a bunch of setpieces had been mashed together) and delivered great new characters and a storyline that reminded me of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. And, yes, ~~the top-down one-shot scene was amazing. Also, I like how you said the final half hour was incredible. That really speaks to the movies pacing Guess what. The last action scene was an hour long. I literally found a cam recording to make sure I'm not crazy, and from ~~the moment he gets off the boat, to the final duel~~ is basically an hour. The movie was self-aware enough that it never bothered me, but I see where you're coming from. JW1 is much more grounded with him needing to rest after the club shootout and such.
