Sure you can. If you have one with stow aways seating, you can 100% get a fridge in there. I've done it.

Yes, can you move a 10 foot basketball hoop in a minivan? Of course not.

But like I said before 80% of pickup owners don't even use the truck bed. The ones that own a pickup and use it like a pickup aren't the ones in here defending them. They know what they have nad why the have them.

I have heard it can damage the fridge to lay them on their side so it may not be a good idea to move them that way.

I think you just have to let it settle upright for 24 hours to make sure all the coolant has returned to where it needs to be, otherwise it can burn out the compressor or something.

https://www.thedrive.com/news/26907/you-dont-need-a-full-size-pickup-truck-you-need-a-cowboy-costume#

75% of truck owners say they drive off road less than once a year which means never.

https://www.insidehook.com/daily_brief/vehicles/pickup-truck-owners-admit-dont-need-trucks/amp

63% of F-150 Owen era polled say they never use it for hauling or towing.

I was originally posted in a joking manner, but the more I look into it, I may be more correct than I thought about people buying trucks more as a status symbol than for their practicality.

Wat

Trucks are less safe to drive (than a car) in the following road conditions:

  • rain,
  • snow,
  • ice,
  • twisty roads,
  • in high winds.
Because a truck is a rear-wheel drive vehicle that has no weight on top of the wheels which give it power. They are also very, very tall... making them very difficult to control in strong crosswinds.

I had a Tacoma that I absolutely loved. But gas was killing me so I traded in for a Corolla. Definitely miss the truck... Used it to haul stuff all the time. Had off road capabilities but I rarely used it for that. Just not my thing.

Will definitely get another one eventually but a car is far more practical for everyday driving. Plus, the only other truck I have access to is my dad's F550 and that thing is freaking huge. Not the best for small jobs though it does have a dump bed which we've used countless times.

Everyone who buys a truck who doesn't need one, isn't buying it to "look manly." It's an extremely dumbass and ignorant thing to claim.

Relying on what you believe to be stereotypes to back up your claim is ignorant as well.

There's plenty of reasons to like a truck, an suv, a specific console, a specific resteraunt, food, etc.

There's plenty of other reasons to like a truck beyond towing, hauling or looking what you believe to look "manly."

I said that people that buy trucks and don't use them for their intended purpose buy them more as a status symbol than anything else.

Which can be said about a lot of automobiles, which is the response you were quoting when you said I was making wild assumptions.

But judging by other people's responses, and not just mine, the non-hauling pickup driver stereotype exists for a reason. Same reason there's a stereotype surrounding older men driving sports cars.

Most stereotypes are based in reality.
