I have to give them props for making a banner where Kana is my favorite character on it. That's not an easy feat.

I'm usually asleep for New Years banners myself. I liked Ash back in the last book but otherwise the last time I was genuinely excited for a New Years unit was probably literally Duo Alfonse.

I misremembered and thought NY banner was the only special banner we are getting this month. So many special banners and the refine rate is so fucking slow

We were expecting another legendary banner this month since we only got Camilla one month after the double mythic banner, right? I welcome the return to the original cadence, however temporary it may be. It better not be an OC

The Legendary/Mythic schedule works like this:

Jan - Mythic
Feb - Legendary
Mar - Legendary

Nov - Wildcard

I believe this pattern holds as far back as Caeda and Nanna when they stopped the original alternating pattern.

AHR happened in Jan in the past, right? I remember we would see it on the calendar previously, but it didn't show up this time

AHR happens as part of the anniversary celebration. Historically that meant Feb 1. But, the celebration starts early this year so AHR may be early as well.

Summoning on the new banner got nerve-wracking then things turned around towards the end. The only 5* I got close to the spark was Hapi (not counting Hinoka and Nina) and I wanted 3/4 focuses. Then +Res/-Spd Tina showed up as the 35th summon, and then I only focused on blue, hoping Rein would show up before the spark. There were no blues on the last circle and summoning on all colorless got me +Spd/-HP Safy and A!Elincia. Safy and Tina are pretty lucky because if they had come out a lot sooner, they probably would have been demote trash like Nyna and Elice. The sisters are very solid support units and Rein is a good nuke with bad art

That's not too bad. I decided to skip the banner and pull for an extra Dimitri (No Quarter) for S!Ephraim

I got lucky going for my second winter spark and got another Dimitri before getting there. I decided to spark for a second Yunaka as I thought her skillset would be more splashable

If you're not really attached to either one, I think I prefer Igrene because the FE6 lineup is weak. Or mine is, at least!

Yea, FE6 should be one of the least impressive line-ups for just about anyone due to the sheer difference in units between FE6 and Heroes. Heroes is one of my best line-ups, and Gull makes it even more formidable. With B!Gull and Gull, you potentially have five actions in one turn, more if you have dancers

Nice that Soren is getting a Resplendent, too bad he's still hopelessly outclassed by that other alt

My B!Ike is one merge away from being done, but I don't use him anymore ;(

I'm in a similar boat. I pulled so many B!Ikes by chance that I could +8 him right now. Too bad he fell off years ago. Even his fodder isn't worth anything anymore so it's like "Yeah, this unit exists I guess."

It honestly takes too long to reasonably merge up non-grail units these days, the timer before someone becomes irrelevant is shorter and shorter.

Anniversary and Feh Channel coming soon, which should also be where the CYL results are revealed (Baring any leak). Anniversaries haven't had the best track record recently, but maybe we'll get a nice QoL change.

It's the weekend in Japan right now. If there is a leak, it won't be until Sunday evening only hours before the FEH channel.

Works for me. Means I don't have to avoid going on reddit until then. Probably.

If you asked me to put a time on it, I would say no earlier than 5 hours before the FEH channel (Monday 7am JST) and realistically no earlier than 3 hours before (Monday 9am JST).

Got Silque. She is decent as party support, but sucks she doesn't have auto-FU and so damage output is underwhelming

My B!Ike merges have stagnated for a while. I've been defaulting to green on the weekly arena ticket for him or B!Edelgard, but I believe I've yet to get either that way. Not that it matters too much...I don't use him anymore
