I'm not sure why I skipped Heidr on her debut banner. That was the best way to get her

She's back again in November with several of the current banner units. It should be a better green lineup than what we have now. Here's hoping that Hel's remix pumps some life into her

Why is the scheming dragon not a dragon

I'm confused by Diamant's word vomit... His PRF reduces damage by 25% of Def, but immediately afterwards, it states it neutralizes non-Specials that reduce damage, which reads like it negates his own DR

There are two type of DR.

Percentage based - Spurn, Flayn's staff, Aegis, etc.
These reduce damage by a percentage. Skill that pierce damage reduction ignore these effect unless they are from a special like Aegis.

Flat - Spring Maria's weapon, Brave Dimitri's weapon, etc.
These reduce damage by the same amount each time. This can not be pierced or ignored in any way right now.

I wasn't counting precisely, but I think it was 900. I was very lucky. Here's hoping that some of that luck follows into CYL

Nephenee already had amazing art and the resplendent somehow managed to match it. I'm still missing both summer duos and both greens so will probably buy the pass for a month. Last year I remember my pass lasting long enough to spark a 3rd limited banner by waiting until the end of the summer banners.

Last year's banner ended on Aug 6 and Aug 8. September banner was on Sep 7.
This year, both summer banners end on Aug 6.

There's a chance the early September banner starts on September 6 but the chances aren't too good. It doesn't hurt to try, though.

I was talking about the thief alts in August. Now that I'm looking at past banners, I actually bought the pass at the end of the legendary Xander banner mid-July to spark Sigurd and it still lasted long enough to spark Cath with the two summers as well.

In this case, waiting is more about getting pass days in September for convenient training tower quests (basically done with July already), avoiding the resplendent heroes before Lucius I had no interest in, and giving me the most time to accumulate orbs if I want to spark both the August special heroes banner and the August legendary/mythic banner. I have no aspirations toward sparking a September special hero.

Okay, that make sense. Since you planned to wait until the last day, I thought you were trying to reach the September banner as well.

Yeah it does get old seeing what they think we value over orbs.

Also I have like 24 celestial stones right now and I feel like I've only ever spent them on a forma soul every 3 months. Should have been an Otherworld Bond. That'd be pretty damn hype.

Also free 4* seasonal pulls... at this point just let us pick and choose who we want because pretty much all of those heroes have been so utterly outdated. Old seasonals are already unreasonably difficult to get with how powercrept they've been.

So I'm sitting on the Eitr banner with 60 to spark, but I don't think I want to? With CYL and DSH on the horizon I just don't think a 'maybe' Alcryst is good enough. Especially since the only bows I use or would be interested in either have a prf (Bernie), will have a refine coming soonish (Bernie, Rath), or um... Summer Leonie?

No infantry (likely demote) Ashe yet.

Diamant has some juicy fodder, but I already pulled a Summer Fjorm for relatively cheap.

Citrinne also has nice fodder.

But there's only so much "for latter" pulls I can do I feel.

This might be the first time I go down on four consecutive banners and definitely first time for summer banners since I normally only focus on one of them, but there are so many good units being released these days... I was trying to get S!Shez and ended up ditching for Shamir in the spark since she provides better value

Yeah, I'd forget about sparking if you don't have a plan for the fodder. I only pull for fodder when I want to use it now. You get enough incidental 5* units to make do, usually.

I decided to pull on the mythic banner also. Got Ingrid and Freyr at 35 and 36 so I completed it for Nerbuz. I don't have any plans for Ingrid's fodder, but I do like her

Ingrid would be better if she came with Guard, as she fails the FEdel check without it

I ended up getting every summer unit with some very strange luck. Only one L'Arachel and one Tharja despite focusing more on those colors. Tharja in particular came as a 9% pitybreaker, and then I got Ivy immediately in the next circle to complete the collection despite everything resetting. I basically have no orbs left so I don't think I can get 2 more sparks before my pass ends.

There's 0 chance he shows up, way too dated lol. I refined him when his refine came out thinking I would build him, but then ditched him. Of course, he, like any red mage, can inherit R!Ophelia's stuff to be good, but I would rather spend on someone who won't score like crap. Nephenee is like the only exception to this rule right now, but I just got my first copy, so....
