Picked up Ephraim and L'Arachel in 12 pulls. I wish she wasn't so underwhelming, but I'll take it

Got my boy Ephraim up to +2, quite happy with that.

I see L'Arachel more as a support unit, and that's the reason I will be pulling for her. Haven't decided who else I will try to grab on my way there, so holding off on pulling for a bit

New units are looking pretty fun, and Eph is actually quite deadly. I feel tempted to pull on all colors

You've got plenty of time to decide; this banner has a very long run. Ephraim does feel pretty powerful. I considered trying to get some merges, but I need to see what CYL Soren will be like. I'm over 1300 orbs for the first time

There will be a chance to get Soren later. I still have 600 orbs so it's not the worst. I decided that I couldn't pass up Ephraim. All my other highly merged premium units are blue so it's nice to have something different.

I am so confused right now. Have they ever done a TT/special units in between summer banners before? Or is this going to be the second summer banner?

This is for the TT story that happens from July to November. They did one for Book 2 and Book 3 already so this is Book 4's turns. The units are released along side the non-seasonal banners.

For the Book 2 event in 2021 that was:
Nifl, Muspell, Ascended Fjorm, Ascended Laegjarn

For Book 3 event in 2022 that was
Ymir, Rearmed Lif, Ascended Eir, Rearmed Ganglot

I dedicated most of the kills to Tinnie so she could get TP4 and still managed to get a decent kit on Julia, but she is not essential and I need to ration forma's

I know S!Fjorm is the millionth new infantry sword and she really didn't need another alt, but I can't help feeling tempted to pull for her as she facetanks quite well. Let's see what the next banner(s) have in store first

Fjorm does get a pretty neat animation. I don't really need another infantry sword right now but her kit does seem nice. I do want to get atk/spd finish and vital astra for my Lumera eventually

As for Guin, I'm pretty set on skipping. Red and colorless line-ups are quite meh. Don't care much for pretty boy

I thought red was the strongest overall color on that banner. Extra copies of Yuri or Heidr interest me more than Guin. Atk/Spd hexblade might be fun on L!Chrom with his remix

Has everyone unlocked all recipes in the cookbook? I've gone through all the permutations I could think of and couldn't figure out what the missing recipes are. If anyone knows what the last three (sorted in ascending * rating) recipes in the cookbook are, please share!

I don't think I've touched the cookbook at all.

I enjoy this new mode, but wish it wasn't gated by daily stamina. I'm using Heidr, Duo Ask, Duo Peony, and Young Lucius this time

Gonna enjoy using Fallen Linus in Seer's Snare, Blazing was just the bonus I was hoping for!

Seer's Snare is easily my favorite game mode, though I agree about the stamina limit being a bummer. The team I'm running is Karel, Nils, Raven, and Heidr.

Heidr is so dumb right out of the box, she murders everything with hardly any trouble.

How many orbs does it take to max a unit? I know new heroes banners require less and special heroes/legendaries/mythics require more. If I don't spend a single orb until CYL, I might have enough to +10, but I doubt I will have that kind of self-control to wait until then

It's been a while since I've maxed anyone.

Winter Bernie took me a little under 1700 orbs, which was less than regular Bernie (Though that was before certain summoning changes).

Heidr is fun to use. Her assist skill is great.
