That's the thing, I didn't even really feel bad this morning, but my throat was kinda sore and my nose was stuffy. There've been some weird temperature swings in my area the past week or so, so I thought it was just that fucking with my sinuses or something but good thing I thought to test myself just to be sure.

I can do my job remotely and my computer room can act as sort of a quarantine room of sorts. It just sucks when your wife is texting you pics like this

oh nice. Apparently they have been notorious over the years for being localized. I guess they're based out of PA? I remember my parents raving about it when I was a kid because my mother went to college in PA. They've been in New England for at least a few decades now. I don't often drink beer but Yuengling is delicious.

Pottsville or Pottstown PA, I went to the brewery when I lived there, it was a restaurant too. I think they were still local in the early 2000s and not national yet. Good beer imo.

Oregon Trail remake on Switch is fine, I think Death Road to Canada does it all better. It's a good pioneer game, but there are so many adaptations and clones out there that it's nothing really special, probably not worth the $25. Good $10 or under buy, not disappointed I paid $17 but i'm probably not gonna play it much.

I feel like people always say babies are cute or amazing but I genuinely mean it when I say that kid is dumb cute and cool as heck.

I don't have kids but my oldest niece is gonna turn 17 or 18 soon I think. Not really sure. I can't remember exactly how old I was when she was born. I know I was mid 20s. My stepsister and her ex (niece's father) lived with our parents briefly at that time and I was between college and initial post-college job at the time. I used to drink with them both (though one would always stay a bit more sober in case my niece woke up and needed anything) and one time, I heard a mosquito over the baby monitor and was like "fuck mosquitos. I'm not letting her get bit! " and I went into their room. I found the mosquito. It was hiding underneath the crib, hanging from it. I killed it without waking her up. I've always been quite proud of that. One time though stepsister and ex got into a fight and he flipped out and smashed his car up a bit and a neighbor called the cops. I was wasted and lied to the cops about that even though I apparently had no reason to >_> (which was according to them. One said "you said you weren't drinking but you obviously have been and this is your house and you're of legal age so I don't know why the fuck you would lie about that." He didn't follow up so I just remained silent and they left. I had already been ready to pass out for the night so I just didn't want to deal with any shit.

I feel a lot older than I really am. I've got so much grey hair on the sides of my head and beard.

QMT probably is the oldest. iirc he's like 48? I think. I hit 40 a couple months ago so I might be the vice elder lmao (but maybe not)

I would get stray gray hair here and there with facial hair, but the other day I found a singular gray hair on my head and im like.... wtf the entire strand of hair that's long turned gray overnight.

I guess about 2 years of heavy stress will do that to anyone but I think I came out of it alright.

I fucked up my neck a few weeks ago and it went into my shoulder and arm. Neck not hurting anymore and shoulder/arm are mostly just stiff but it came with fucking bullshit numbness in my hand. Left thumb is like half numb with pins and needles. Index finger a little better. The rest fluctuates between slight pins and needles and normal.

Sounds like a pinched nerve or Diabetes.

I'm fortunate to have not seen any gray on my head and while my hair is clearly thinning out, it was too thick to begin with, so I've got some borrowed time... and no bald spots... but beard is graying at a consistent, though fairly slow pace. That's to be expected at this point.

It happened before, a few years ago and started in the exact same place my neck. I did suspect a pinched nerve then. I had an x ray and some heart thing done but neither of them revealed anything substantial. I do have a genetic history of diabetes from one side of my biological family but I had some blood test done and didn't get any definitive results, so idk either way
