Refugee is incredible. There are some really lost gems like "One Story Town" on a mostly forgettable album but one of my all time favorites was always "Walls." If i hear Walls I might actually cry it's so beautiful and sad-ish Here's one story town:

I never got to see many concerts but at least I saw him once at a huge outdoor park. It was really good. The Radiohead show I saw was better (it was around the Amnesiac era honestly saw both around the same time) Not saying Radiohead is outright better than Tom Pettty and the Heartbreakers but just that Radiohead show still sticks with me while I am like yeah I saw TP once at least. The show obviously was good but that Radiohead show outdoors was just an experience like seeing Jimi Hendrix live or something hehehehe

My brother was into music like a-c-a-b is, collected a ton of cds and vinyls also, wasn't near as big, but close. He went to easily 25 concerts a year, not counting local stuff he did basically every weekend, so i've been to a ton in my life, probably over a hundred. I went to 7 Warped Tours and got to see either Bad Religion, Nofx, or both each time, plus a lot of other solid bands. Pennywise was there one year, Deftones, Rancid, a bunch. Venue i've been to the most is probably what was The Electric Factory in Philly, not sure if it exists anymore or goes by that name still.

a-c-a-b seems to like a lot of music Iike though whereas he got more into really underground punk back then I just found my way back to Dead Kennedys, TSOL, Agent Orange and the like. Also stuff like Jawbreaker which probably more the kinda punk/emo I got into not to say that I don't like hard unknown punk I am just not going to name drop bands usually just for cred or some shit.

Blake Schwarzenbach's voice isn't good but there is a sort of endearing factor to how not good it is. Also it was worse before "Dear You." Wow that album bombed so hard it killed the band. Yet it inspired so many bands like the Ataris.

I've seen you talk about your brother a few times before and he sounds like he was an awesome dude.

I used to be much more into going to shows when I was younger but don't do it as much these days. I still love music though. My drinking is a big reason why I don't go out as often these days. I lack self control when I'm at shows and drink one beer after the other, after the other, after the other and I do that all night.

I've never been an asshole drunk and I don't get angry or start fights, but I do drink until I'm falling down drunk.
