CaptainStrong 03/10/23 10:29:56 PM #2:	Of those, Metroid: Zero Mission. It took an NES game that aged horribly and made it fun. Resident Evil and Black Mesa are great too. I don't even consider the PS4 Shadow of the Colossus a remake. It's the same as the older versions, just with better graphics. I hated the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo. And Metroid: Samus Returns is the game that killed the series for me. AM2R is the real Metroid 2 remake to me. Demon's Souls probably is a good remake, but I just can't play those games. Gobstoppers12 03/10/23 10:54:50 PM #10:	Twin Snakes wins by default because it's the only one from the list where I've played both versions of the game. It did like 90% of everything perfectly well. Smoothing out campy accents, drastically improving the freedom and versatility of the gameplay, etc. etc. But boy do I wish they had kept the original spirit of the cutscenes intact. All the over-the-top anime style flipping and shit really took away from the raw badassery of MGS1-era Solid Snake. He was a true badass in his prime, but a fairly realistic one.
