Buying, playing, or watching Hogwarts Legacy is basically harming real people out in the world. All Trans people tell you to not do any of that and people who do that show they never cared about the LGBT in the first place.

I'll gladly break off friendships and disown family if I catch them even thinking about playing it. If someone tells you not to drink bleach, you wouldn't do it. This is the same here.

I chose that option, namely because I had no desire to play (nor knowledge of) the game before the controversy, which was spreading shortly before the game came out and reviews dropped. Hearing about it all the time => journalists covering it => attaching gameplay footage to the coverage => my first exposure to actual gameplay, thinking it looks pretty good.

Yeah there are a lot of people like that. The ones doing it just to upset trans people are the minority.

Some are. Nintendo isn't particularly bad or harmful, you can avoid Apple or Android but jot both, you can avoid Amazon in most cases but can't avoid supporting bad businesses.
