Agreed, there's no way anyone is buying that as simply a misspelling. The woman's name was Nyiashia. That was clearly deliberate

It was a word that started with n. The article doesn't say the word but they used asterisks after the first letter which was n.

The article says "N****" and the spacing on the receipt looks the same so I'd assume it's just missing a 2nd g.

Maybe they were going for a similar sound to the country Niger with the spelling and royally messed up.

The ridiculousness of news article being afraid of actually using offensive words that they are writing that people are offended by so the reader doesn't have to guess is a disease of the modern age.

How the fuck can I judge for myself whether or not a misspelling is realistic if I'm not being told what the exact wording was.

To be fair Chikfila is absolutely unmatched at how fast they go through the drive through. A 10 car line at chikfila takes the same amount of time to get through as a 3 car line at mcdonalds tbh

To the couple people saying news articles should include uncensored racial slurs, no just no. As a black person it's already disgusting enough to hear someone go through this. I don't want to click on a news article and see the N word being flung around. It's just plain insensitive to do that.
