I won a match today stealing Invisible Womans ongoing with Rogue. Opponent snapped and had no idea I played Devil Dinosaur to crush him in that lane

IW is secretly great in Dino decks because they can't Enchantress/Rogue your Dino and they can't Shang-Chi it either.

I've been doing Rogue or Enchantress on IW, seems to mess them up sometimes

There is a guy I keep running into on ladder named Wizkid and I swear he's been playing the same deck for months.

He plays Magik on turn 5, skips turn 6, then plays Infinaut and She-Hulk on turn 7.

How do you not get bored of that stupid combo I don't understand.

The missing card that stops me from doing that is Wong :-(

Decks that require so much precise setup are just too hard to make work in this game. If you need an exact curve on turns 2-6 then you're basically never going to hit the combo. And the 1/20 times you hit the combo your opponent just needs a Cosmo to shut it all down.

I think Hazmat/Cage is a great combo to throw into any other deck with two empty spots

But not a win condition

Yeah I use Cage+Hazmat in my Cerebro2 deck. At the end of the game it can be a 12+ power swing with Hazmat if you don't have priority.

Pet peeve of this game is playing against someone who already has this month's infinite card back and I'm currently rank 50.

Yeah I know I'm CL5000 but why am I playing against infinite players when I'm 50 ranks below them?

There's internal MMR separate from your rank but why even have rank if we're dropping 50 levels here?

Also infinite players can't drop out so they're free to snap as much as they want without any risk. It completely devalues a major aspect of the game.

afaict the matchmaking is all based on CL. your rank only seems to affect how often and how dumb the bots you get are.

Its multiple factorsCL, Ranking, and an internal MMR

since you cant fall below 100 once you reach Infinite, a player could definitely reach Infinite and then tank their MMR either by getting on a bad streak, caring less about winning, or even playing mediocre decks for fun and get matched with lower people as a result

also could be a bot, they can have whatever card back they want. sometimes theyll even have infinity split cards with no foil background but with one of the other split features, which is impossible for real players

My latest new cards are Mojo and Death. Barely ever see Mojo played. Maybe its because he looks gross

I was using Mojo in my Negative deck before the Zabu change when I swapped the cat in his place. He can work in a deck that frequently fills the board, or something using Spectrum as a win condition

Pairs well with Doc Ock obviously

Ive been going back and forth on whether I should swap Dr Doom in my Deathwave deck for Aero. Doom is good since I often find myself playing for all three lanes with this deck, and is a decent counter to Aero which otherwise kills this deck. But Aero is such a good card that would work great for this deck. I dont think I have the space for both of them.

Aero is the best card currently and sets up lots of situations where it's basically impossible to lose in Death wave.

(I know because he used MODOK so I got to see them all.) Who the hell just randomly puts that in their ramp MODOK Hela deck???

Got my first Ego location. My opponents Ego played Wong and the following turn my Ego played Rogue in a lane where she could steal nothing instead of going for Wong.got lucky enough to win the match, but oof what a location

Just pulled Orka for my latest series 4 card. Maybe the one I wanted least out of the ones I'm missing except maybe Maria Hill.

Maybe Orka and Namor should be flipped in their design

Instead of 6/9 +5 if there are no cards here it should be 6/14 -5 if there's another card here

At least then I'd be able to silence him.

I can consistently try and do things in match with no response but as soon as I get even a little close to the end turn button it ends my turn no problem every freaking time.

Unless you Limbo the TVA i imagine it still ends on 4 because TVA causes the game to end after turn 4, where Magik just creates a turn 7.

Id never had Ego before and this is the second time Ive seen it since yesterday I think. Just makes bad plays too

It would be funny if they gave it deliberately bad AI though

The sad part is even if it made a decent play by not giving the left lane away for FREE Id have still lost due to Jubilee pulling out Sunspot anyways :(

You can probably crush pretty hard at your level with she-hulk + infinaut on 6 + sunspot

You can't She-Hulk and Infinaut on turn 6 because She-Hulk will still cost 1 if you skip turn 5.

But you could still She-Hulk + Taskmaster if you skip turn 5 (and Shuri on turn 4 so they both give 20 power looool)

she hulk + infinaut costs 7 after floating 5 mana. you'd have to psylocke on 4 or magik on 5 to pull it off
