What the fuck was that shit yesterday

If I can take one thing from Town Red's posts before he was hammered with no chance to defend himself, he was mentioning end of D2 that we don't hunt for cult recruits. We hunt for scum like normal. I think this was right as my Peaf looks the most different from D1 to D2 argument was obviously wrong.
So I'd like to do some classic scum hunting by evaluating which good players have bad votes. Lopen had a good vote D1, that ended up being wrong, but I can't fault him for it, because the fault was with Plum not being forthcoming and giving up. D2 Lopen was present at the end of the day, was one of the few people who didn't vote for the cop scanned (untargettable) scum. And claims he didn't see the Plum cop scan until after day ended. So his excuse is he just walked away from the thread at deadline. D3 he knowingly puts Red at -2 halfway through the day. MAYBE if I'm being VERY CHARITABLE, I could say he was putting Red at -2 to see who jumped on after him, but he caught Corrik of all people. Then he acknowledges again that Red is at -1 and does not unvote. Then IGCD hammers out of nowhere. I understand you all are going to give Corrik a free pass for some reason, but Lopen not unvoting there reads REALLY bad to me. What are the chances of the strong player to have two bad votes in a row, and the only lynch he wasn't on was the scum lynch?

There will be mechanics in this game that could punish scum all rushing on and hammering someone to try and end the game in MYLO/LYLO, or trying to end day early

Notice that there wasnt a shot last night.

The one thing I'm unsure of with the IGCD hammer is that scum was specifically warned with the setup that trying to end days early and hammering would come with consequences. Just bad or do they know about something we don't about what that means?

Nope. I've played with Red many many many times before. If he's not at -1 it doesn't matter. You put him at -2 and it won't work. Hell -1 might not even work, but it's completely lame that we can't even blame Red for playing badly.

Sure there is. The harm is that you give us a situation where we lose half a day of discussion, especially when we have several low effort players that apparently only care about playing the game in the last hour of the day and don't contribute besides an honorary check-in before that.

Unfortunately I think this is the path that's been set. I don't really see a world where we lynch you before IGCD unless he had a damn good reason for hammering. And just that alone makes me kind of want to flip the script.

Edumey fearing Peaf and killing him as a result would make sense. Maybe SBell wanted a non-traditional recruit to create and endgame state where we're all expecting players that are traditionally hard to lynch to be the recruit.

My scum list however follows a process

1. IGCD - Claimed scum yesterday
2. Chang - Pocketed Han with a lengthy discussion on cult only setup that he would have only been able to figure out with a perspective slip. Notice this so called town neighborizer still hasn't claimed either.
3. Ulti - Pretty much a given by how the recruiter works. You want to recruit a target that is hard to lynch. Han, Corrik, me, and Ulti are all notoriously difficult to lynch and I think SBell would default to someone he has a lot of experience playing with that was considered reasonably townish. Corrik and Han were scanned town-- yeah GF is possible but whatever.
