Furries also have a weird distribution. Over 50% are non hetero. Though I think that survey may have included people who don't look at the porn. I bet if you interviewed people who are predominantly into the adult side of the fandom it would be even higher.

To address your initial observation, cis is different in that its just a description. No different than heterosexual.

Like, theres a social normal. (I.E., if you meet a stranger, the odds of them being a straight cis person is astronomically higher than anything else. )

But cisgender is just a description. I dunno what the prefix cis means tho tbh.
