Honestly, they should have been in their last year of high school and first year of college at the end. Some relationship like Kawakami would still be a little questionable (although I am guilty of dating her in the first playthrough), but at least it would not be a teacher dating a high schooler

I think the main reason I don't judge it by real world standards is because Joker is supposed to be a self insert.

Nationally it's around that but every prefecture has its own laws that overrule it and 99% of them are 16-18 just like us >_> I guess they're just too lazy to get rid of the legal redundancy and just set it to 16+ everywhere *shrug*

Isn't it weirder to date one of the high schoolers? Yes, Joker is their age, but YOU the player are a grown ass adult.

I really don't get why some people get so into being up in arms about fictional characters. If you're complaining about a child or child-like character being sexualized, that's fair, but otherwise you can calm down about something that may barely skirt or violate social norms or laws in real life.

In the US there are no actual legal restrictions on what video games kids can play because they are considered art. Retail stores choose to enforce not selling AO games and carding people for M games purely based on voluntary actions.

It's only half voluntary. Publishers threaten retailers to pull all their games if they sell AO or unrated games. They just won't get in trouble with the law the same way they would if they sold alcohol to a minor.

As for AO, that rating is rarely used. You can get away with a lot in an M rated game. Part of the problem with the M rating is that it covers games that probably would be rated PG-13 if they were movies to hardcore R movies.

With the way the main plot completely ignores any romance, I think Kawakami sort of makes more sense than one of the teenagers because keeping quiet about things is part of that sideplot.

I mean, there's a scene where the girls in the Phantom Thieves were laughing at the guys basically for being dateless losers and I'm just sitting there thinking, "WTF Ann? We've got a max romance you bitch!"

I was looking at persona 5 to be my next game after I clear ff7r. However there seems to be a billion versions of the game and I've never played any persona games. Which version of 5 do I want to pick up?

I personally don't understand English, nor Japenese grade, but in Quebec, "first year on high school" actually mean you would be about 12 or 13(college usually starts at 17) so it made me so uncomfortable before learning she was only 1 year younger than Joker

Most crossover games tend to be like around 70-80% Warriors 20-30% IP they are crossing over with. Like Hyrule Warriors.

I'd say at minimum it is the other way around with Strikers. It's certainly more Persona than Warriors regardless of the mix, and it's more proceeding through the dungeon rather than capture the bases. I feel it can be a possible groundwork for future Persona games if they ever wanted to go the action route. However, the basic attack combos will have that repetitive feel Warriors games have. It's something Warriors games can't avoid having lol. Also, it's only a single player game.

I'd say if you are really into DW, you may not like it as much. It's clearly aimed more at the Persona fanbase.

I'm not good at expressing my thoughts sometimes, so I strongly urge you to watch a gameplay video before making any decision.

It's a good general game, a bad musou game. A big part of what makes a good musou game is the concept of the back and forth between armies while you act as a bit of an overpowered monster weaving around to beat the other side's overpowered monsters (assuming you play at a high enough difficulty for them to be actually relevant... or Lu Bu). Strikers, on the other hand, is basically just a slight offshoot of a normal RPG.
