Netanyahu was supposed to meet with Joe Biden, but Biden's camp cancelled the meeting. This happened while he was already in flight to the US, so he probably assumed he would meet with Trump now that he is officially the Republican nominee. Same reason Trump spoke with Zelenskyy the other day.
No idea if the Harris camp has any intention to meet with him, however.
