Enemies who don't suicide into him and were at 1 range would be in 1 hit range for everyone else all his consistent combat exp made up for him not getting as many kills. And then after the group cleaned that up, he would move ahead. She just doesn't have an arrow weakness like they do. The ones I've done so far are: * Framme to a Griffin Knight (Lances and Staves). I mentioned this one a bit earlier. I gave her Sigurd's ring early on so she could inherit Canter, she got proficiency in Lances and some godly level-ups along the way, and she became my best healer and a great offense unit too. * Alcryst to a Wolf Knight (Axes and Daggers). I initially gave him Lief's ring early on so he wouldn't be bow-locked and could counter-attack with an axe on the opponent's turn even while attacking with a bow. Then when promotion time came around it turns out he also had a proficiency for daggers, so I had him ditch bows entirely. I also had him inherit Build +3 from Lief's ring so he can wield heavier axes with less speed loss. * Jade to a Wyvern Knight (Axes and Swords). I thought about keeping her an armored unit, but I already had Louis for that and I figured her defense is high enough to tank stuff leven in this class. Plus, despite the class description mentioning "fearing magic", her resistance is pretty good like this too. * *mid-game (like chapter 11-14) recruitment spoilers* Ivy to a Mage Knight (Magic and Axes). Once I got her little sister Hortensia later, I didn't need two flying Magic/Staff users that were basically identical. Around this same time, Celine was starting to fall behind stat-wise as a hybrid attacker who could attack with both physical and magical attacks, and Ivy's strength stat isn't that bad. So I benched Celine, added Hortensia as a pure mage, and made Ivy a hybrid attacker. All of my other characters are in either their base class or a promoted class directly connected to their base class. If I get Lapis to 20 as a swordmaster I may seal her to Hero (or something with really good attack growth like an axe one) since I couldn't when she hit 20 initially. I got the wolf knight last to 20 so I just rolled her over to stay in the same class but gain more level ups lol. And she didn't lose her skill that unlocks at level 5, so there was no downside at all to doing so. On a ng+ or whatever though? I'll be using Jean and Anna for sure. Sage Anna seems like she's got some ridiculous potential. And for Jean, I'll do that axe into wolf knight I mentioned earlier since I can just cheese some level ups using the Micaiah skill in skirmishes. >.> I'll also use Diamant and get him into the wyvern promotion path. gunplagirl 01/26/23 3:28:12 AM #352:	Update for where I'm at, finished chapter 22 and actually had to think a little to get through the side quest to get the ring. Proposed to Ivy. And am grabbing all the ring bond missions before I proceed to finish the game. Giving dodge and evasion skills to my knife users so they're functionally u kill unkillable since their crit rate means they won't get ganged up on and beat down by assist attacks since those have cranked up accuracy and are one of the few things that can chip characters with super evasion or defense. --- tfw no big tiddy goth vampire gf who lactates blood - viewmaster_pi <cite>gunplagirl posted [p:971103135] in Fire Emble...
