I am the vax-man.

But I'm still waiting for my superpowers.

I got the first Moderna booster like a year ago (so three doses total) and that was it

I've gotten everything they will let me get.

How many boosters are there?

I had intended to get the bivalent booster, but then got covid

Not sure how long after getting it that I should get a booster tho

What shot are we on? I got the vaccine, the follow up shot, and one booster. No idea where that puts me.

I got one in October, I guess I'm updated

think i had to wait till after jury duty so it's either November or december.
edit: i later figured out how inconvenient if i got called in on any week (it can happen when the buses don't run) or cant get up early enough.

Will the 15% who are too dumb to get vaxxed at all admit who they are?

Fully boosted. It's no big deal once a year to get a covid booster in addition to the flu vaccine which I was already doing long before covid

I got the initial one and two boosters.

Boosted November 2021, boosted again a month ago to try to avoid the rona at a convention.

If was gonna feel like shit after that it was going to be from alcohol and junk food!

I can't fathom idiocy like this when 99% of covid deaths are still from unvaccinated people, especially 3 years into this with all the readily available and not particularly difficult data to comprehend that.

I have 2 shots, 2 boosters, and got Covid last month. So, I guess I'm good until May? >_>

I originally got the one shot J and J. A few months after when they started offering the first boosters of it I got that. About a year later I got Covid. With the vaccine and having had Covid I'm not really looking to get another shot. I'm not even sure one is available to me but I would assume it is.

I do feel like a good 20% of this board are shut-ins, and truthfully, in those cases skipping the vaccine probably isnt the worst mistake you can make. I mean, youre still taking a risk. But if your chances of interacting with any sick people are absurdly low than I could see skipping it.

I got my dad all boosted up and theres been times when it felt like a pointless exercise when he never leaves the house and only interacts with immediate family and even that is sporadic. Of course, then he had to go to the emergency room, aka the lions den. So I was glad we did it.

I got the first 2 shots and ended up with Covid less than 6 months later. Fortunately it was a mild case. Haven't had any shots since and haven't gotten Covid since.

My brother in law (he is in his early 20s) ended up with myocarditis a month or so after taking the first vaccine. Turns out that may be a real side effect...

I think vaccines are good, especially for high risk patients (my grandmother caught covid last year and probably only lived because she was fully boosted) but it is fair to ask how effective the vaccines are with constant new variants and if there are any side effects, particularly in younger males. Because of that I am not sure I will be getting any of the boosters at this time.

Why? I think vaccines are great. New variants evading vaccine immunity, and the length of vaccine immunity, are a real ongoing concern and challenge facing the medical community.

Extreme side effects are rare, but do occur. It's not unreasonable to ask if there are risk factors in any medical decision.

Is there any stays on how many people have their boosters? Interest seemed to drop significantly from first dose to boosters.

I received the first two doses, but I never got the booster.

it's not because I have an issue with it, it's just mostly out of laziness, the fact that I mostly work from home, and that when I do go to the office, it's usually just me there.

I don't even think it's a bad thing if antivaxxers get covid and deal with the consequences of their actions.

It's the best way to get herd immunity at this point

Not currently no, unless you're a high risk but you're just getting a second shot of the same booster in that case.

For most people, the annual updated booster in the fall before cold/flu/covid/rsv season sufficient
