I find it hard to believe it's the same Ash mostly because whenever they move to a new region or start a new season, he seems to almost immediately forget almost all of his previous experiences or adventures, aside from a select few when the writers try to invoke nostalgia or something. Not to mention how he literally never ages (despite references way back in several Indigo League episodes that state that they had been out adventuring for over a year). It's frustrating and that's why I really think his character was hard reset several times, particularly after the Gen 3 anime ended. --- Be sure to smash that block button, delete, and unsubscribe ... Thats always been a problem with cartoons They want to keep it going But never have the characters age With adults, its not usually a problem But with kids (like Ash, who works only when young for the show), it doesnt work as well If they really wanted hard reboots, theyd have to get rid of all references.
