Board 8 > Longest time to get all achievements/trophies in a game?

This week I went back to play Deadpool again, and this time I finished off the last few trophies I hadn't gotten on previous playthroughs. From starting the game, it took me 9 years 6 months to get the Platinum trophy. Obviously, I haven't been playing the game for that whole time! That time dwarfs my previous record (Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix took me 6 years and 1 month).

Does anyone else have really long times between the first and last trophy/achievement, either playing consistently or playing through a game and going back at a later date to finish off anything you missed?

Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe technically takes over 10 years

My biggest gap is Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One at 9 years and 3 months. I played it a little when it came out and then put it aside. I came back to it a couple of years ago when I wanted to finish the rest of the PS3 games before Rift Apart.

longest gap was 5ish years i think

longest games were monster hunter world/iceborne. not sure on the exact time though. next place is the first sword art online game (or technically 2 i guess) which took 200ish hours to get iirc

I've been one trophy away from the Platinum in Mass Effect 2 for like a decade now

My biggest gap was Gran Turismo 5. It took me 10 years and 1 week, 2011-2021. I kept going back to it but I kept hitting brick walls in difficulty. Finally made it through and crossed the finish line so to speak.

I think it's from the pre-achievement era but the world record for 100%ing Baten Kaitos is 338 hours.

MGS3 took me about four years; I screwed up on getting the pacifist run trophy (and missed a few others) somehow, so I had to get those when I eventually did a replay.

Mass Effect 3 for Ps3. Got the platinium last year, including the online trophy. Yes I had to play alone for like 20 hours just for one trophy.

I've only 100%'ed the achievements on a few games and those that I have were in one continuous period of play.

If you want to go by playtime...eh, I dunno, maybe Ender Lilies? That took like 40 hours.

I remember FFXI had achievements for reaching end level as different classes, definitely never got close to getting all of those.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light took 9 years, 10 months. Jak 3 took 9 years, 8 months.

I started both games forever ago and finally picked them back up last year.

I have had at least one game take 8,7,6, etc. years.

Uncharted 2. 12 years and 1 month.

Final Fantasy XIII at 8 years 5 months, 2012 to 2020

Although, I did play it on my old account back in 2010, so you could say it was over 10 years
