The point of the no food order... and when youre trying to yet to the bottom of why the no food order hasnt been lifted hours (like 8+) and his dinner was withheld. They wouldnt even give him water.

The nurse pulled me aside and told me not to threaten them.

She did get it fixed finally and got him some food.

My PTSD and anxiety are through the roof right now. So theyre not happy with me.

Thats fine. They dont need to be happy, they have to give my father the care he needs. Heh.

My dad made the comment hes glad my moms not here to see him like this, except if that woman was here shed put the fear of god into them. Lol

I broke my arm when I was 12 and needed a steel rod put in it to straighten it out. They didn't have free spot in the ER so I was on standby. 5 days I went without food, water, not a thing passed my lips and the IV was the only thing keeping me alive. Eventually they did let me eat and I.got the surgery the next day but for a year or so afterwards I got a very sick feeling when I got hungry and had to eat right away to make it go away. Hospitals can be barbaric at times.

Jesus... thats pretty fucked up.

When they pulled the rod out 2 months the nurse used a pair of pliers to remove it and gave me zero painkillers and was pissed I was screaming from the pain. The rod was the length of my forearm. We should have sued the hospital.

What the fuck... how did that story get worse?

Reminds me of when I went in for a gall bladder removal about 20 years ago. They basically left me in a hallway for about 8 hours because they went off to try and find a room for me and then forgot I was there.

I was super hopped up on Demerol though, so I didn't give the slightest of fucks.

Heh that works. They have my dad on Oxy but he only gets a low dose every 8 hours or so.
