Calwings 01/05/23 12:26:01 PM #7:	Most of the examples of "skill-based damage" that the community has given are easily explained and disproven (TheXclusiveAce even made a video about it and I trust him and his in-depth testing more than anyone in the CoD community) so I'm inclined to believe that there's not anything actively and maliciously nerfing good players in the background. I wouldn't put it past Activision to want to do that, but I think the devs are far too incompetent to make it actually work, and any inconsistencies people are having are just the game being buggy as shit or people not understanding how perks like Quick Fix work. It was an issue related to how the game's net code rewarded players with terrible connections. The target he was shooting at was crouched and only got hit when he stood up, so it's possible that the guy's bullets were detected as hitting the rock until recoil took him above the rock hitbox and the target stood up into the shots for a bit.
