Most of the examples of "skill-based damage" that the community has given are easily explained and disproven (TheXclusiveAce even made a video about it and I trust him and his in-depth testing more than anyone in the CoD community) so I'm inclined to believe that there's not anything actively and maliciously nerfing good players in the background. I wouldn't put it past Activision to want to do that, but I think the devs are far too incompetent to make it actually work, and any inconsistencies people are having are just the game being buggy as shit or people not understanding how perks like Quick Fix work.

There are already plenty of valid and tangible reasons why Call of Duty Modern Warfare Roman Numeral Two 2022 Electric Boogaloo: It's Doorbin' Time is a god-awful game without having to resort to tinfoil hat conspiracy theories.
