Match 1 could have been insanely close if this were Nilah instead. As it stands, I sadly think ultracombo is the weakest song in LoL's set so this was a bad draw.

kimera ii is probably the overall best vgm i've heard in terms of... i dunno, just how long it has remained impactful to me. how close to perfection it has remained after all this time. nothing in the league set really stood a chance here and ultracombo's classic guilty gear-esque flavour is no exception
katamari on the rocks is a song that just puts a grin on my face at this point. even with sakimoto at close to his most brilliant, this really is a tough match...
meridian child is so solid. definitely the kind of song i think is a tough sell to the crowd here regrettably. i kinda miss when cold steel was randomly a game i was into a ways before its localisation was announced and everything from it wasn't on some absurd pedestal here because yeah some of it is just kinda average rpg fare including this (not saying that's bad, i appreciate a game being good at being what it is, just yeah)

A rare day where I already know all six songs! (Don't worry, I listened to them all today.)

KIMERA II is super cool. The usage of vocal samples is very well-done, along with the industrial percussion and effects. Probably my favorite from the G-Darius set. ULTRACOMBO was definitely my least favorite from the LoL set on the other hand, so this vote is pretty easy. The synth solo is pretty nice tho.

Katamari on the Rocks is fun, though I think it's the weakest song in the Katamari set. It feels like it's building up to something but never actually gets there. It needs a stronger melody and instrumentation to stand up to the rest of the set imo. Still a good song tho. Lost Forest is probably my favorite song in the Legaia 2 soundtrack. Really fantastic ambient piece with the piano flourishes, choirs, and acoustic guitar all adding a ton to the overall mood of the track. Another easy vote here.

Already commented on Meridian Child yesterday. Don't Be Defeated By a Friend! is like ULTRACOMBO but without the cool solo. Easy vote again.
