Its how you get tailored ads. I was talking to a coworker the other day and he thinks that part of the reason why China has pushed to make TikTok, and apps like it, so big in the US is so they can undermine the growth of America's youth while restricting Chinese access to social media and trying to force Chinese youth into being successful and influential business leaders.
