PF makes me want to tear my hair out

Randomly party up for EX6 at 1 AM? Make it to enrage on the last pull of the first instance, clear the entire thing on the third pull of the second instance. Somehow.

Partying up for Zurvan Unreal at any moment in time? Everyone keeps dying to Soar for a tethers prog party, and when we finally get to tethers, nobody pre-positions, unmarked players get hit by Wave Cannon, the tank keeps going the wrong direction, some jumpy DPS is going way out of melee range, nobody communicates, etc.

I'm not looking forward to PF progging Savage ugh
Tried to do it last tier, but never even cleared P5S because I was getting frustrated at tanks who wouldn't properly mitigate the tankbusters.

I've never done savage when it was current. Kinda tempted this time since P11 in particular seems like it'd be a really fun savage, but yeah PFing it sounds like a slog

P9 is zzz. Nothing happens for like the first 2-3 minutes

doing the first two minutes of p9s over and over just to wipe to levinstrike is indeed very dull

p10s and p11s are both really fun though and p10s is the hardest (and most engaging) second floor of the expansion

I think PF just needs to learn the easy strats for Levinstrike. That's still my current prog point, but I've gotten downvoted enough times on Reddit for posting inefficient strategies to learn what the best strategies are for resolving it lol

Defamation is way simpler to resolve than it seems.

Cleared P9S last night. People were not kidding when they said that getting past Levinstrike means you've basically cleared the entire fight. I'd do the mechanics for Levinstrike pretty consistently, but there'd always be some party members in PF screwing it up.

... So I joined a clear party despite never seeing anything past the two raidwides after Levinstrike Summoning.
We cleared on our first pull.

Kinda sucks having to lie about prog points just to get a competent group of people that can actually do the mechanics. But that's Party Finder for ya, I suppose

It sounds to me like the party finder "cycle" has only gotten worse and worse.

People lie about prog point -> You join a party at your prog point, but it's full of liars so it wipes a lot -> You now have to lie about your prog point to join a party listed as further than your prog point -> Everyone else in that party is lying too

You just better be good enough and studied enough that people can't tell you're lying. If you're confident in your skills and you're right, then fair enough.

Honestly I find Limit Cut 2 scaried than Limit Cut 1. I still only feel I barely know how the jump and the front/back bait work there. I was in a group last night (a c41) where I was the 1 defamation and as i ran back center to let the 3 trade with me, it looked like the boss's jump hit me even though the group should've been baiting it over at the wall...? Does it hit you if it goes through you? No way. Idk. Maybe they messed up.
