You had the whole "You are the first person whose role has been randomized" guarantee in your PM, so you thought you had the advantage to argue MI could be on your list. But in reality it looks like Suprak may have told that to two people at the same time that they are the first to receive roles

like despite the possibility that both roles could co-exist, i don't think that their lists can. if corrik could have chosen MI to be scum it doesn't add up. i can only see the roles co-existing if MI wasn't on corrik's list and vice-versa, meaning that corrik has to be lying about MI being on his list if he is in fact lying.

My first PM explicitly says I am town and the person I picked will be town. The other three will then roll their roles and alignment as normal.

After I made my choices I did not get my full PM with the mason board link for a few days.

Here is my question though

That's what I've been wondering. Because if he's lying then we just lynch him next. There are 2 possibilities:

1) Distract from the current lynches, which doesn't make as much sense given that he apparently(?) wants to go back to the current lynches, which quite frankly also doesn't make sense because then why counterclaim?
2) Make Lea look good with an MI town flip.

If you can find the last time he was scum, I remember he was caught and killed for batching a claim by adding details he didn't need to that backfired

ok so i went back to find where corrik supposedly hinted at being joe biden / campaigning / stumbling / knowing lopen is town and here's what i've got (i excluded a lot of posts interacting directly with lopen which are definitely there but not that interesting imo). i've absolutely cherrypicked a very unfavorable interpretation here. in a vacuum, specifically one without corrik's claim, he comes away from day 1 looking good imo. but nevertheless:

Suprak is his wife playing on his account. She likely is either enlightened or a role that can know alignments. Either of which screams not town to me. Kill it.

If he could choose not to shoot the day of the night prior he paints, there was zero reason he didn't paint night 0 which he claimed existed. Hmmm so I was off a little in what I thought. He is saying if he used it night 0 he had to shoot day 1 or lose it. I thought I remembered differently. I need to go look at it.

What does it matter if they are masons or neighbors? I think Lea is likely town. I was less sold on MI though MI is likelier town than scum. Even if they are neighbors and both town, it matters for eventually set up meta. Confirmed town versus maybe confirmed town will matter whenever we get enough roles to meta the game.

I chose who I thought would be the most fun. I expected a crazy role madness game. This being lower power is unexpected. That said, you can fixate as much as you want to on my claim as you want or reasoning, but it doesn't change the fact that since day 1 I told you Ben and Scare were scum. And they are.

To be fair I am not confirmable. I highly suspect MI and Lea are just neighbors that really trust one another so claiming as Masons when they really aren't. A flip of one will either confirm the other or they are lying about the details, which I do highly suspect is true. Before MI had pretty much the details of what I was sent before the game, I thought it was all bs. It's not scum made up on the spot. That's for sure. Too much lines up detail wise for MIs choosing.

I said on the claim I thought it was all bs. Until MI had details, which was literally the second message I quoted. Then I started going wtf.

I don't know. I don't think so as masons. Need to think about it more. BCT, Suprak. MI, Lea. Me, Lopen. Lopen had no idea in regards to me. BCT, Suprak and Lea, MI... those are almost redundant. It's interesting.

End of the day, judge them on their play I suppose. We have had no protection or scanning claims all game. If this is all we got as town, then it's more believable I suppose. Chang claimed roleblocked one night and supposedly I guess we are led to believe it's an odd night only power or a one off power he didn't get back if roleblocked. So, idk.

We know the scum team is probably relatively weak. It had the extra kill and the modifiers of regular kills on one person. Usually these would be spread out between two. This means they had to choose between an extra kill or modifiers. That screams probably weak scum team. But, that will reveal itself over time.

This game is probably balanced around Reds role, who died before he could ever even use it. He died after 2 died and coulda chose BP there right? I kinda doubt he was strongmanned through the BP, so I am guessing red got greedy and chose something else thinking he was safe for now.

He had ninja and godfather also on him. So you would think a movement scanner exists somewhere and a cop.

Also, I got a pm saying someone visited me last night which is still unexplained and completely unrelated to my role as well. So there is that.

Also while we are at it. After this shift, I'll probably be unavailable for most of tomorrow. I should get available about 30 mins to deadline or so, but I'll be at avatar 2 and out to eat with my kid most of the rest of the day.
